Just how sure are you that salvation is for absolutely for anyone and everyone? Do agree however salvation is available to whosoever will come. You answered your own question. The Lord doesn't say 'whosoever' and then place upon it limitations. Let's break this down: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)The original Greek for 'whosoever' is 'pas' which means collectively 'everyone, anyone and as many as'. In other words Heaven, if someone calls on the Lord to saved them, He will...no addendums, no restrictions. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. If you're using this verse to substantiate your beliefs, you picked the wrong one. You're citing John 10:27 and Jesus is talking about those who have already been saved. However, if you'll back up one verse, Jesus is addessing NON-BELIEVERS, and this is where those who don't differentiate make their mistake of limited atonement. They misinterpret those as being some Jesus has let fall by he wayside, when in reality, they've never called on the Name of the Lord.

Something occured to me Heaven: Are you sure you're saved? If you've looked at salvation as a 'hope so' relationship with Jesus, then maybe it's something you need to settle...and right now. Time's getting short Heaven, and you can be sure you're saved. Just call on the Lord to saved you and He will! There doesn't have to be a doubt in your mind. This isn't something you have to hope for or wonder about. It's not about what we can do to secure our salvation...it's about what He already did. If you're not sure and want to talk privately just PM me or any of our Mods. You can begin by going here[/url]. There's a couple of excellent videos by Pastor Adrian Rogers speaking about salvation at the end of that page I would suggest you watch.

Yes Keith, i'm saved As you for your other reply and a further explanation of all this. Actually if you take a look closer at the word “whosoever” also means “a man” or “an individual”. Look it up not only in the Greek but also in the Hebrew, along with King James Concordance, which says, “Any one; any person”. Let me rephrase what I said with a better understanding of what I was replying too. Just how sure are you that salvation is for absolutely anyone and everyone? Meaning every single person in the world. I do agree however salvation is available to whosoever, meaning anyone or any individual that will come unto the Lord. Who are these individuals; they are them whom hear the Lord’s voice……. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” I wasn’t speaking about non-believers when using that verse. Not sure everyone got completely what I was saying, only part. I used to believe the tares were evil men who had rejected the Lord, and they shall not have part of God’s Kingdom. Believed this for years till one day as I was sitting and working on some studies out of the Old Testament I had to stop dead in my tracks, it hit me like a ton of bricks. The devil literally and actually sowed seeds, individuals into this world. Some of the original tares can be found in the Old Testament in a few different places. In the bible speaks of three separate races of them. The Giants, they were born of daughters of man upon the earth. Their fathers were fallen angels, they were never meant to be part of this world. Haven’t a clue as to who other tares are but these are just a few we can know of. It shows satan has had actual seed planted in among the world and they are not part of God’s Kingdom. Go back to the parable break it down for yourselves, there are three groups of people there shown. The children of the kingdom, who in turn when time comes Jesus shall separate, there are those who shall shine forth out of the Kingdom. Then there are them who shall be rejected and will be thrown into the fire. That’s because they themselves rejected Jesus. So that’s two groups there, then there are the tares, they will be burned, they never had any part of God’s Kingdom, because they were the children of the wicked one, sown in by the devil. When Jesus sends forth His angels, they will be gathering the children of the Kingdom not the children of the devil. I’ll say it again one more time, God the Father did not give His Son tares to sow into the World, therefore, Jesus did not lay His life down for the tares, He laid His life down for the sheep, them who the Father has given Him. There really isn’t much more I can on this subject except, Eph. 1:4-5 “According as He hath chosen US in Him BEFORE the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having PREDESTINATED us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.” WHY, before the foundation, go back to that first day of creation, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1 That’s the foundation and Yet, God chose US in Christ before the foundation of the world. Why? Please don’t think I’m trying to change the subject I’m not, this all actually shows why Lucifer has done all that he has including him sowing in his own seeds into this world.

Frankly, I reject your TULIP for the Rose of Sharon - and I will not debate the subject.

Our ministry does not believe in a gap theory nor predestination, also known as limited atonement, and it will not be debated on the Forum. I would suggest all read an article on predestination I penned 10 years ago: www.divineintervention.ws/News-Commentary/Keith'sComments/comm-12-10-2003.htm Subject, and topic, is closed.

Just a final word, if I may. Heaven, you said on an earlier thread that you didn't stay long at any MB...and I got the feeling then there was probably a reason. "Ye shall know them" so I waited and saw...
My suggestion is to examine your salvation as Keith suggested and see if it is a true confession of faith in Jesus. Then examine yourself...so often the big fault for our rejection by others is our own. Got 66 years of life experience and a "fowl disposition" to back that up.
We all pray the best for you and that God moves in your life...
