I can understand your father in law's desire to go home and am so glad for him that he is coming home. As strange as it sounds I think we all feel better at home when we don't feel good... I am gettin' old so I get to say strange things... Will keep all in my prayers. It doesn't sound strange to me: There's no place like home! Praying for all.

God bless each of you so very much;
They are picking-up Dad from the nursing home at 5:00 AM, and driving him the 90 miles to Las Vegas, to catch the flight home, this morning. Teresa my SIL, and my niece Misty,(who is a nurse), will be flying directly into Wichita, with Dad. They will be met in Wichita, and driven to Emporia, where they have a room ready in the nursing home where my SIL Shirley and Misty are nurses.
Jan and group will be leaving today to make the drive back from Golden Valley, AZ. Two pickups and a blazer in their "convoy".
Praying our Father would hold each precious one in His hand and guide through the hours, and miles ahead, and bring safely home, in Jesus' name.

Your father in law is a blessed man with a quiver full of children to speak at the gate for him in his old age.
Praying for safe travels for your whole family.
