Subject: FW: Ultimatums GOD Is Busy
If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!! A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.
One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, GOD if you are real then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 min.' The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, 'Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting.'
It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.
The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, 'What in the world is the matter with you? 'Why did you do that?' The Marine calmly replied, 'GOD was too busy today protecting America 's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot. So He sent me.'
The classroom erupted in cheers!

"Full Member" - def. -- Two fried chicken breasts, half a dozen chicken livers w/ gravy and onions, a bowl of mashed taters and gravy, three glasses of iced tea, two slices of buttered texas toast, and a large scoop of hot peach cobbler with a ball of melting vanilla ice cream across the top. Full member?!? Nope. SNACK! ;D

God bless Y'all so very much.
Thought I might dig out the old rockers, put on the coffee and watch the ducks and geese coming in and out of the lake. Counted 8 bald eagles the other day, perched on the big old trees around the east section. Two had full color with white hoods and tail, and the other 6 were still youthful brown/gray spackled.
We have some moisture coming in with a bit of a chance for snow on New Years Eve. Thankfully it is not like last year where I was digging folks out of their homes.
Will figure on updating my reflections as we go along, and Y'all jest sit down and put your feet up, and I'll have the coffee on in a bit.

Had some snow last Christmas. A homeowner snapped these of the snow and me plowing. Had only 6" but it was driven by 30+ mph NW winds. It was hood deep on the trucks and I could not drive the tractor through the drifts even with chains on. Thankfully the drifts were localized, and I could get the trapped ones out in one day. The temperature was seven degrees and the windchill 13 below zero F. when I was out plowing.

I was going to say thanks for dragging out the rockers to the porch brother Drew, but judging from those photos, maybe we best have that coffee in the house. ;D

Watching the Monarch Butterflys flitting about and attaching 3-4 at a time to the tree limbs. They are headed south to Mexico. Just read that this is the fourth generation since coming north last spring. Yet these I am seeing just born up north, will return to the very same area as their great-grandparents left from last spring. One of our Creator's miracles.
