Been praying for Vet and her family and realized we haven't heard from Vet in awhile. What they are going thru is hard...goodbyes this side of Glory always are.
But we know there is a great reunion coming...still it is hard.
Prayers for Vet and her family.
Amen.

Thank you all again, for all your prayers. Pop passed away early this morning. My Mom (in-law), Hubby, my sister-in-law, 2 aunts, and I were with him when he died. He did suffer a bit, but not very long & now he is in heaven.

The Lord surround you and the family with His love Donna. May He provide comfort in this time of trial, and give you peace...

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please give us your strength today; help us pull together as we greet people at Pop's visitation. I know that many other people are hurting, and want to talk about Pop and how he had helped them.
Please make all other concerns disappear for now, so that we are solid in our stand to support each other. Please help Mom as she grieves. She is so sad because Pop will not be here for his oldest grand daughter's graduation from high school. Please help Hubby, because I don't know what to do and I know that he is hurting.
Thank you Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen

A hand on shoulder, open arms with a hug, a ready ear to listen, a truly loving/caring heart, mean more today then a thousand spoken words.
Praying that our Father would provide, comfort, peace and strength for each who gathers and each who so need, in Jesus' name.

Thank you all, again. God is so good and so faithful; the problems that have occured are minor, and the support we have received is wonderful. May everyone receive such blessings!
Pop's visitation and funeral are finished. We continue on our journey in this life, and we will see Pop again when we reach heaven.

Praise God for His wonderful works!
We received, in the mail today, a notification that the Illinois senate passed a resolution in memory of Pop. None of us know of any other situation like this, although one would think it happens rather frequently. It still means a lot to all of us, and it is a wonderful symbol of how much Pop was loved.
Thank You, Lord, for Your wonderful works. You will move things when and where You want, and we only see a little of the results. Yet You help us when You do these things. We are not worthy of even a tiny bit of Your consideration yet You keep us in Your thoughts all the time. Thank You, Lord, for Your wonderful works.
