Hi D2. Glad to see you posting. To answer both your questions, yes! ;D Here it is: "And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them." (Revelation 9:16)There wasn't a word for million back then. The Greek words used are "duo" which means 'two', and "murias" which means either 'ten-thousand' or an 'indifinete number'. So the King James renders it as 'two hundred thousand thousand' which by multiplication would be 'two hundred million'. This is the product of the Sixth Trumpet Judgment of Revelation 9:13-21 which results in the death of one-third of the earth's population. For your future studies we have all twenty-one judgments of the Tribulation listed on our main website[/url].

I would love to read your story sometime as well, but only if you feel led to post it. I see friends taking refuge in new age beliefs and I would like to have a story to tell them about how such beliefs do not have the answers. I have learned a little bit about new age beliefs, but it never appealed to me because I could never find any hope within it.

well, lets see here...i doubt you'll find any of this interesting but...starting about in '77 (?) i was looking for the way...of course, at that time i didn't know it was waiting for me in the Bible ! i've always been interested in the spiritual side of things and felt like there was more than just what we could see here in this plane of exsistance. so i delved into horoscopes first i guess and thought they were right on the money (WRONG) and well...sometime way before 77 and i can't remember the year..i was a hairdresser and i had a Witch for a client. at least thats what she said she was...a WHITE witch. whatevah...she liked me though. around this time a had a big problem w/ a certain female person that i won't go into but suffice it to say that i related the problem to my witch...Very shortly afterward, this female had a SEVERE traffic accident that almost killed her..her young son had to pull her from a flaming car...she called me to her hospital room to apologize...spooky huh?...so i hung out with the witch at her bookstore a little and met others. a hypnotist who said he could do past life regression, tarot card readers, all kinds of cool people (snicker). i started reading Shirley McLaine and all of her garbage that i did NOT think was garbage at the time...really got into it. i was all into crystals...wore them..had them sitting around my house...wanted my husband at the time to build me pyramid in the living room to meditate in..( we never actually got to that though ! hahahahahaha) and before this i took transcendental meditation and i have my VERY OWN Mantra !!!( which was also part of the wanting the pyramid) what about that YUCK i get the sequence of all this junk confused, not that i care anymore. so anyway...i just kinda thought along those lines...was a member of A.R.E....the edgar casey Association of Research and Enlightenment....read all about casey...was into the save the whales kinda stuff .... and into Jacques Cousteau and gosh i can't remember all the junk...just all of the new agey stuff...you name it, i probably studied it at some time. so life went on...i was in my third marriage and had a daughter from my first. kinda drifted away from all the newagey stuff and didn't get much involved in any other philosophical kind of stuff for a long time....meantime, my daughter was growing up and started dating. she met a guy thru an event her school was doing and they started dating. i did not know at the time that David was a Christian...not that it would have mattered, just didn't know about it. So as they dated, he introduced her to the Lord and she became a Christian and still i didn't know. she never discussed it with me and probably for good reason because when she did start to discuss it w/ me & husband, we kinda pooh poohed it and i threw in a bunch of well what about this verse?? doesn't it refer to re-incarnation and etc etc etc when we talked. so we stopped discussing it. but she and david had decided they were going to marry so we got busy planning a wedding and all. she got married and they started a family...this was in like 87-88...me and all my girlfriends and one of my sisters saw how wonderful they were doing and what a sweet loving marriage they had and we started talking amongst ourselves and decided it was the relationship w/ the Lord. so we all kind of threw that ball around for a while and then one day my sister told me about this church and this Fabulous Choir they had and told me that I HAD to go see it. so one day i did...now...this was before i was actually born again and we had NOT been brought up with any religous ( Biblical) education so i basically knew nothing...oh wait...when i was 13, i started going to church w/ my cousins for a couple of years and during that time i got baptized but looking back i know that then i DIDN'T know what the heck i was doing...God, however did.....so when i walked into that church..it was like God put his arms around me and said You're Home! ...i'm getting goosebumps writing about it right now. so i started going to the church and really loved it but i still wasn't born again....one night at my home..i was very upset over something that i don't remember now (re: the husband) andi was watching a BIlly Graham Crusade on TV. when he made the alter call as he always did, i got down on my knees right threre and asked Jesus into my heart and life....it was lie somthing just washed over me and i felt light and new...REALLY !! thats when i was born again. not long after that, we started having Bible study at my sister's house ( she & my Best friedn also came tothe Lord at around that same time) and we had Bible study with David's parents because by this time David & Erin had moved w/ my two grandbabies to Las Vegas of all places !! i thought i would literally DIE when they moved...no wait...i've got the sequence wrong i think...they moved before i went to the church and all that because when they moved it nearly killed me...so it was AFTER they moved west that i became a Christian....anyway...thats about the jist of it. I did have a divine intervention where God took the addiction to nicotine away...this is a real cool story...we were having Bible study on a thurs night and the following Sunday was Easter..at the Bible study, out mentors said we were gonna pray very specifically for something we wanted ot needed. my girlfriend prayed for a particular kind of car as she needed some new transportaion...my sister prayed for a red mustang convertible i think just because she wanted one and i prayed that the Lord would take away my addiction to cigarettes..actually, i prayed that i would get sick every time i tried to smoke one. the next morning ( and if any of you have ever smoked, you know it's the first thing you do when you get out of bed in the morning) i got up and lit one...oh i got SICK feeling so i put it out and thought YEAH !! ...i tried to smoke a few more times the next several days but never could...by Easter Sunday i was a NON-Smoker and have been ever since...NO withdrawals...NO sickness from quitting NO bad symtoms AT ALL from quitting. my girlfriend got a little black Paseo ( Toyota) which was what she prayed for and guess what else ?? my sister got the red mustang convertible !!! hahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaa.... so now i have SEVEN grandchildren from my ONE daughter and David...they have FINALLY moved back to nashville after being out west in LV and LA for18 years...David is sucessful in his profession which is commercial voice over...my first three grandchildren..all boys...have a Christian /Alternative band that they write their own songs, lyrics, music and do their own producing...www.myspace.com/musiclazar i have three granddaughters 13, 10 and 4 and another Boy six....whew !! i am however married for a fourth time to someone i had been in love with years before my 2nd & 3rd marriages and love the Lord and am SO Glad i'm a Christian...sometimes i don't act it and i fail every day( don't we all) but i'm SO blessed. SO thrilled with the grandkids it would make you SICK ! hahahahahahahahahahaha ok...time for me to lock up the office...i'll check in on the board tomorrow and if you have any questions, feel free ! D2......aka Dianne

Oh my dear Dianne, what a road you've travelled enroute to salvation. But you know what, the Lord doesn't care where we've been (Romans 5:8), He only cares where we're going (Romans 6:23b)! Yes, we all stumble on our walk with Him (1 John 2:1-2), but that's part of our growth as His children.
Bless you sister, that's a wonderful story of redemption, thanks for sharing...

What a journey you have had, Dianne! I really do think that I would not have made it through what you have had to endure.
Don't worry about the typos. You should try to read my handwriting! It's far worse than any typos I have ever seen.....
But then, I have always heard that doctors have terrible handwriting.
