Asking for Prayers for 3 friends...

I learned last night that a friend I haven't heard from for about 2 weeks has lung cancer. She is the type of person who is there first when you have trouble but will shut down when she needs help, love, and support. Please pray for Debbie...and for her family.

Also for another friend...Keith and I are concerned as he is the same type...first on the scene if you need help but shuts down when he is in need of friends, and the love, and support of brothers and sisters...

We ask for prayers for him also...Lord knows his name and where he is...we pray for news from him...and that it will be good news.

Please pray for our friend and brother...

Heard from Debbie today...

she said Drs. told her she has from 4 months to a year. She laughed and said God had the Book of Life and only He knew how long she had...

Still no word from one friend...thought about him this morning. Am hoping for the best but am fearing the worst...please keep our friend and brother in your prayers.

Heard from my other friend tho. Lungs are now clear...next step is to get the cath out...and continue with chemo...

Please keep her in your prayers too...she is upbeat right at the moment...prayers are coveted...she is such a great friend to so many.

My other friend Debbie is going to have her second chemo treatment today...please keep both of these wonderful people in your prayers.

Just an update...haven't heard from Virgil in some time...please pray all he is doing is taking an internet break and nothing more.

and Debbie...my friend with cancer. She battles on and is holding tight to the Lord...keep thinking of what the Lord said to Paul..."My Grace is sufficient for thee..." He will give us the grace and strength to endure anything...please pray for my friend...it is hard to watch her go thru this. Things are not looking good...but she is such an inspiration.

Would like to add Mike Ferrell...our young friend over on Polecat Creek who drops in every once and a while to say hello. Have had him on my mind and in my heart lately. When that happens I think it is because they are going thru something and need our prayers...or maybe they are thinking of us...anyway, been thinking of Mike and praying he and his family are OK...

so will add Mike to Virgil and Debbie...and pray on!

Have heard from Debbie. She is working thru Chemo...she said she has good days and bad days but the good days are taking the lead...

She is an inspiration to all of us...please keep her in your prayers...

and add one please...a retired Investigator for the Sheriff's Dept. like Keith. Ricky was diagnosed with prostrate cancer some years ago and beat the problem but recently they found a spot on his liver and he is going thru treatment again. He is one great guy and good friend. Please pray for Ricky...

Well...Mike showed up and he is having a hard time right now...so y'all pray for him.

My friend Debbie is having a really rough time of it. Chemo is really getting her down. Please pray for her.

Please pray for the families of the two TV news people who were murdered on live TV yesterday here in Virginia. We are all so stunned by that...

Please add to these prayers the families who have lost children here in St Louis from the gun violence. It is so sad another toddler shot last night. Three children in a week and a half.
Also a police officer who was headed to work and stopped to assist at an accident. She was struck and killed by a speeding driver.So many needs for us to spend time in our prayer closets crying out to the Lord.

Heard from my friend Debbie...things are going from bad to worse...

Please keep her and her grandson, who lives with her in your prayers...she is so down...and I know Jamie is holding on by a thread. He is in his early 20s...and has already been thru so much sorrow in his life...

Please pray for them...Debbie is a fighter and loves the Lord...but things are so bad.

Still no word from Virgil. Mike surfaced and has dropped off the edge back into Pole Cat Creek...

Debbie is still fighting a good fight. She is doing chemo and it is reeking havoc with her systems...but she keeps a good attitude tho I know she must get down sometimes...

Please keep Virgil, Mike, and Debbie in your prayers...

also Vickie...another friend fighting leukemia...

and my old friend Ricky, also fighting cancer...he is a retired Deputy like Keith.
