There is no need for the US to hide under the desk! The US should now on treat Russia as a strategic rival and competitor of influence and hegemony in the Middle East.
The following are Russia's new hallmarks:
a) Russia has paid all its post-Cold war debts to the West much before the deadline;
b) The Russian economy has picked up momentum registering a solid 6-7 % growth--mainly from industrial exports--dual use industrial exports meaning military and civilian uses of technology.
c) It has made brisk arms sales to China--thats a huge amount followed by India and ofcourse Iran, Syria, North Korea.
d) It has huge windfall of profits from its oil and natural gas trade with the West and now has the ability to throttle gas supplies to the West--France and Germany are critically dependent on Russian supplies;
e) Vladimir Putin has stiffled democracy in Russia and has curbed all civic freedoms for Russian citizens--Russia is also stiffling pro-democracy governments in Central Asia
What should the US do:
a) The US needs to consolidate its economy thats running amok-- consolidate its military-technical revolution--invest in new ballistic missiles not merely missile defenses;
b) Increase her naval surge capabilities and try to complete the Iraq mission with more troops;
c) Strengthen East Asian alliances with Japan, South Korea, Engage South East Asia
d) Now coming to Iran, be prepared for a preemptive EMP nuclear attack that Teheran and Moscow may colloborate to spring a surprise on the US
In all likelihood, the first shots of the Gog-Magog war would be an EMP attack on US and Western Europe that would paralyze the US and West for any response. An EMP attack over northern hemispheric US would paralyze all electronic communication and would render US strategic forces impotent.
For all this initiatives the United States of America needs a President and an effective team who would be:
a) Filled with God's wisdom and strong sense of direction-- You need a Roosevelt and Truman and a Churchill not a Clinton- Gore nemesis;
b) The US should stop this appeasement nonsense and build capabilities and synergies with diplomacy;
c) Russia and China are NO LONGER US FRIENDS AS GEORGE W. BUSH WOULD LIKE TO CALL.
THEY ARE ARCH ENEMIES OF THE US WITH A GARB. BEWARE !!!!!
Yet with all these, the spiral of Eschatology has commenced what would happen would happen unless the Lord God has other purposes.
It is time to get ready for HIS GLORIOUS APPEARANCE TO BE CAUGHT UP IN THE AIR.
Until that moment the US would be a powerful country after the rapture God knows what the world and the US would be?
