Thank you all so much for your continued prayer support.
My heart has been heavy for them. I talked to my daughter tonight, they are both a little down. She is pushing for him to just go ahead and do the procedure, but she said he is nervous about them working on his brain, which is understandable. It is a lot to deal with, she says it is his body, so he has to be the one to decide.

So, daughter called this evening,Nathan is scheduled for Gamma knife surgery, September 21st. They only operate every other week. That is the soonest available appointment. Continued prayers for them and all of his medical team is appreciated.
On a brighter note, they have 3 people interested in buying their house!! Yay!!Hopefully they can get that all taken care of before the surgery, one less thing for them to think about.

That's good news, Bethany! Praying their sale goes quickly, the Lord guides the surgeon's hands and he has a full and complete recovery.

That's good news, Bethany! Praying their sale goes quickly, the Lord guides the surgeon's hands and he has a full and complete recovery. That is our prayer as well. Relieved he is going to go ahead and have the surgery. Thanks to all of our prayer partners. |

Today (Tuesday) we found out through a Facebook post that a young man in our church who has been battling a drug addiction died from an overdose. His wife found him He was in his mid 30's and leaves behind two young children. One about 5-6 years old and a toddler. As the Care Pastors we have been called in to help this family get through this tragedy. I ask that you lift Laura and the children up in prayer. Praying also for the Lord to lead us as we minister to his loved ones.

Drug addiction and overdoses are becoming a national nightmare...I don't envy y'all work with this family and will keep all of you in my prayers.

PTL! GOOD NEWS! Heather called this evening and they've sold the house! The guy wants to close ASAP, and he is giving them almost full asking price.

It has truly been amazing to watch how the Lord was working in this, everything has just fallen into place both with buying, and with selling the houses! Definately an answer to prayer. Their new house the people had a buyer willing to pay cash money, asking price, yet they took the kids offer which was $10,000 less than they were asking. |
