Have declared an un-day.
Will be doing a few things including beginning to study to teach a lesson in Ecclesiastes, a much neglected book.
Can't do too much peopling any more...takes me a few days to decompress. Have been too much in peebles lately.

Cut grass in the dogs yard...spray some weed kill on the driveway...and get out of the heat and humidity before the noon day sun.

Overslept this morning so behind already. Finish up some work outside before it gets too hot.
Work on the Sunday School lesson for this Sunday...Ecclesiastes 11.

Not much. To hot and muggie. We adopted a rescue dog about 6 months ago. He was so sweet, and lovable. We had him about2 monthd and then we went on vacationfor 2 weeks. Our daughter, (who is crazy about animals,) kept the dog. Since that vacation, the dog has had a complete about-face with his personality. So I have been trying to work with him all summer,he has went from sweet and lovable to growling, and biting, and disobedient. Strange thing is, he was my dog, and I'm the only person he bites. We have tried everything, but nothing seems to be working. So,yesterday we went to the vet and started him on anti-anxiety meds.He has been anxious, and nervous acting since we got him,but never aggressive. Not sure what started it, sure hope this fixes it though. Week before last he bit me three times in four days. As in, he drew blood. It's so weird. I have no big plans today, except trying to help my psychotic dog! Some days it's like having a toddler all over again. LOL Seriously though, we are praying this will work. He's also getting some obedience training. Seems like my Summers been very busy, and it has gone by so fast, just can't seem to figure out exactly what I've been doing. Did not realize how long it had been since I talked to you guys. Anyway, have a great day, stay cool if you can.

Hard to say with a rescue dog why they react the way they do. Probably the dog is recalling something bad from his past. Somebody abandoned him and he is afraid of being abandoned again...he is still angry that you left him. Lots and treats, walks, and love...might fix the problem.
Am declaring it an unday today...worked hard on SS lesson yesterday and it didn't go where I thought it was going. So gonna let it sit today and have a run thru tomorrow.
Gonna do a little work outside...and maybe a little housekeeping inside.
Again have lost all stomach for the national news but have noticed a shift in the lefts attacks on President Trump. They can't dig up any proof of him cooperating with the Russians so they have switched to calling him a racist...have asked several leftist friends to show proof...they didn't show any because like the Russian collusion thing...there isn't any.
Have y'all noticed how the Muller report has dropped out of the news and wasn't mentioned in either Democratic debate.
Get more disgusted every day.

We have a pizza and movie night scheduled for our senior group tonight at church. So getting things ready. Tables & chairs set up, salad stuff bought, drinks and desserts ready. Baked 2 batches of brownies today. All that is left is to pick up pizzas. Movie is gonna be, "Breakthrough." True story about a young man who drowned in an ice covered lake ,here in Lake St Louis. But,through faith, prayer and God he is alive and well! Graduated high school and going into school of ministry this year! We had the privilege of meeting him last year. Amazing story.

Gonna do a run thru of tomorrows Sunday School lesson this morning and going to a wedding this afternoon!
Whole church is excited for this couple. Kathy is a elementary school teacher and I think he teaches high school English. Kathy spent many years of her life caring for her mother who died last year at the age of 96. She is an only child and has no family left.
Just before her mother died she met Rick and they started a relationship that has grown into something special...today they are getting married and the whole church is going to turn out...we are her family and are so excited and proud!
It is going to be a grand celebration! Did I mention that they are both in their mid 50s...
With all the joy today being in God's world with His people and in His Word studying...I just can't bring myself to read the news.

Not much. Maybe go to the flea market in Belleville, maybe not, depends on if my knee decides to quit acting up. Right now, can't walk to far. My brother is here visiting. So once he comes back from garage saling, guess we will decide. We had 45 at our senior movie and pizza night,we had 5 cancellations, or we would have been at 50. Great turnout.

Typical Sunday. Taught Sunday School today, had communion at church, and a good sermon on the Holy Spirit. Had lunch and a nap and ended the day with a ride with my boys...

Gonna make a town run this morning for gas, cukes(gonna start a batch of pickles this week), and a tetanus shot.
Managed to stab myself in the finger with a fork trying to get a plastic seal off a bottle...and it reminded me I haven't had a tetanus shot in over 10 years. Gonna go to a Doc in a Box and get one.
Once again got no stomach for the national news...don't trust it, don't trust the reporters, and it is so full of negativity, and hate, and disrespectful things, I just don't even want to see it.
Sticking with Middle Eastern news...
