How about if we add 2 big pieces of chocolate cake with ice cream? Could we get more than a Howdy...and Daina would come too? If a big bowl of dog food was set out...ya suppose Bandit might show up also?
Much love and many prayers, Duck

Now I know why he is bouncin off the walls!!!! Bandit!!!!!!! Yes you are now on puter denial and headin straight to the backyard young man!! The whole cake? You had to lap up the whole cake?? Yes, I know you shared the can, but, the whole cake?? You know choc affects you like chili does our rednek!! I hope you made sure to give sis duck a good-ole wet, sloppy choc. lickin!!! Sorry we've been away for a bit. Been pretty hectic around here running about. Yesteday was a really long day! Left at 9 a.m for church, came in to change and let bandit out, then headed out to serve 105 seniors dinner. Then stopped home again to let bandit out and headed back to church. Had 2 baptisms(Amen)and the Lord's Supper(Amen). Got home finally at 8p.m. Was one of those Praise the Lord days all day. but sure was a long one. Today Angela and grandson Tony are coming over to spend the day with us. Sooooo, what I left resting in the house yesterday needs to get takin care of right quick before they arrive. Dad will be heading to Mo. to view his land and landmarks he grew up in,probably for one last time. The one-room school house he attended is still standing. Most of his kin-folk are buried in this really old graveyard too; has some awsome old marble headstone markers. He tires out really quickly now, so not sure how much travelin he'll be able to handle. But, he wants to go, so he's going. Mike(brother) and dad should be at our house Sat. or Sun. We're hoping dad will want to stay on with us for a week. He says he is having no pain yet, which is a blessing from our loving Father!! Gotta head off and tidy up round here. Darn bulter hasn't showed up yet!! Ya'll have a wonderful day, and thks for keeping us in your daily prayers. Love, YSIC, Diana

Ya can never trust the butler to show when ya need him. I figured Bandit got the cake when I saw the chocolate paw tracks...but I 'speck Red got some too as I saw tell-tail people tracks. ;D

I have had a lot of stuff going on so it hasn't been a good time to type anything. since everything with my dad and stuff at work i have just been in a real valley lately. i feel like at times my faith is faltering then at other times it seems to be growing. i have had no desire to do or go anywhere lately and i know that kinda bothers diana cause she has to put up with me more. i have only gone hunting maybe 3 or 4 times so far this year since Oct 1. it just seems like i don't have any get up and go anymore or at least right now. what to do what to do? i really don't know. i have looked around at other mb's and it bothers me that it seems like the ones that stand on strong basic Biblical doctrines there aren't many posting or membership is low but when ya accept anything and everything and twist scripture left and right well everyone wants to go there and it bothers me to see ones i thought to be strong Christians falling into the "believe anything but what the Bible says" group. sorry to put a black eye on the thread duck but just felt the need to finally share some of the junk going through this rednek brain of mine.
God bless

WOOPEE! HALLEJUA! PRAISE THE LORD!
The dam broke!...and the rain came falling down...
Good to see ya let it all out Red...well, some of it. You are like my oldest child(age 40)...when he is ready, he will talk. When I see the dimple in his cheek...I know to sit down and listen cause he is going to tell me what ailes 'em.
I am thankful to see you talkin' to us.
I see the same thing at the other MBs that you are seeing, Red. Keith has talked about the same...they are very quiet. I seldom post on any but this MB cause I like the folks here and at CIC. Nuttin' fancy...just a bunch of Christian folks talking with our fingers.
I think after a while we leave the glitz and pazzaz of apologetics and debate and settle down to just quiet Christian living. After all Paul didn't have a Damascus experience everyday...nor Moses a burning bush experience everyday...Noah saw the flood only once...Jonah(probably thankfully) didn't get carried off by a whale everyday...and so on and so on. The majority of their days they spent just like we do...living and looking for the Lord...they for the the first time, and us the second...but all looking...
We all seem to travel this life in valleys sometimes and on mountain peaks at other times. But by far, the best days are what I call undays...nuttin' special...just livin'...Today was a day like that. Nuttin' special. Beautiful weather, deep blue sky, cold, sent of turkey in the air, good work to do. Quiet. I am most thankful for days like that.
Amen?

I have had a lot of stuff going on... Glad to see you check in brother. I know what you mean about stuff going on. I had a health issue pop-up this week. Thought it was a blood pressure problem, turns out it's probably a sinus infection. Started anti-biotics yesterday...head's beginning to clear, BP's fine and feeling much better. I believe I know why all these things are happening right now, such as your issues and mine, and so many more I'm seeing with brethren everywhere. One, to take our thoughts from the Lord, and two, 'cause it's time. Keep focused on Him Bill. Time's short, He's coming... "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." (Romans 8:18 KJV)

hee hee hee...it's called gettin' old. Happens to all of us...got my own set of health problems but seldom talk about them. Comes with the territory...
Read Ecc. 12. I laugh all the way thru everytime I read it. I can identify with all of it. December 24th I hit the big 60! Lord has blessed me richly and been with me when no one else could stand me. Praise the Lord and I am so grateful!
Hang in there Bill...Jesus is coming! now if that don't make ya smile nutthin' will...
