Televangelist Jim Bakker Suffers Stroke, Takes 'Sabbatical' From Show“For many years now, Jim has been working non-stop, working hard to bring incredible prophets and guests to our show, discovering and developing new products to share… and bringing forth the message for the days that we are living in,” his wife, Lori, wrote in a recent Facebook post. “All of these projects, and the vigorous warfare that we have experienced in the last several weeks, have taken a huge toll on Jim’s health.” Lori Bakker added that her husband’s break from work comes at the advice of medical professionals and his board of directors. “Jim will be back! He is still dreaming and hearing from the Lord, and he already has a powerful word to deliver when he returns to the air,” the post continued. www.yahoo.com/entertainment/televangelist-jim-bakker-suffers-stroke-221755852.html

Jim has been working non-stop, working hard to bring incredible prophets...to our show. I'm afraid not. The gifts of prophecy, tongues and knowledge has been done away with in the Church age: "Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away." (1 Corinthians 13:8)

This is the quote that set off all kinds of alarm bells for me beyond those already sounding...
"Jim will be back! He is still dreaming and hearing from the Lord, and he already has a powerful word to deliver when he returns to the air,” the post continued."
Yeah...right.
