Twas the Night before Christmas on a DI Thread
Twas the night before Christmas and all thru the thread Not a creature was stirring They'd all gone to bed. When up at the top was heard a great pop Bandit had made a Snoopy drop For his barkin' Va. friends.
Di and her kerchief and Red in His cap had just settled down for a long winters nap. Steve with his 'puter on his lap... was enjoying his long winter's nap And Keith and Nita rested also Keith dreaming of lobster to go. SF Lord resting away and Lawrence in India at his time of day Preacher and BH and Agee Over on the hills of Tenn. resting as peaceful as peace can be and Kat and her kittens admiring their tree.
And far away and long ago a band of wisemen rode seeking the baby Jesus.
The journey is near an end When our Lord Jesus will come again.
Merry Christmas all, Duck, Dan, and Pete

Merry Christmas Eve everybody!
Waxing a bit on the melancholy side this day. Must be the Irish blood... At the stroke of midnight last night... Duck turned 60 years of age.
Looking back from "Higher Ground" I saw how far I have come Looking up to the top of the mountain I saw how far I have to go... looked right next to me and there was Jesus holding my hand in His.
My hair is white, and my bones sing a complainning song when I rise, but to Him I am Still a child.
So many of us here have been so blessed to have known each other for many years. Even though we live miles and miles apart... we are one in the Blood of our Savior... and know and believe with all our hearts that one day we will all be together.
Amen! Priase the Lord of our Salvation! God our Father! and our Great Comforter!
and on to Higher Ground!
Merry Christmas every one!
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
He is coming in the Clouds!

Pastor preached a great sermon on the "Birth that Rocked the World!"
One of the things he reminded us of is that
Jesus is as old as His Father and older than His Mother and is ageless... He is God.
Amen?
