"f***ing religious moron
The rapture is not coming, and if it is. It will be satan that comes to eat, to shred apart filth like you and your religion, and drink your blood.
Have a good f***ing day."
This is what greeted me when I logged into my YouTube account[/url] this morning. The thing is, this is the third message like this I've gotten the last few days. These poor unfortunate souls have no idea what's coming. I replied: "Don't forget to check out our website. You might learn something..."I haven't heard back from him.

I don't have to go to YouTube Account...all I have to do is go to my own local hometown MB...I get the same thing on a public MB...along with a few other Christians that post there... I think I have finally given up and ya'll are going to be stuck with me alot more. Is it getting worse or is it just me? It doesn't take much to set them off...just the mention of two things...Jesus and the Bible and they are off and running... It is discouraging and hard to be nice but I figure they had better enjoy this life cause they aren't going to enjoy eternity much so I tried make nice...not reply...quote the Bible...didn't work so am now am just gone. So I have come to bug ya'll more... ;D

Yes, it's getting worse. I used to get these once in a while, but now all the time. Glad to have you with us more... It is classic and ironic at the same time, what happend. What we encounter on MBs is exactly what we encounter in everyday life and it follows a predictable course. We are OK till we open our mouths. When we open our mouths we are OK till we mention Jesus and the Bible. The wolves have something to say...we answer with Scripture and they accuse us of intolerance, Amen!, narrowmidness, Amen!, and exclusivity, not so! Salvation for all we say...and so on...we sit quietly and say nothing like the Lord did...then... we withdraw because it is going to be futile and fruitless to say any more, and we run the risk of pushing others away and hardening hearts further... but they continue the debate as if we were there...then the baby Christians and carnal Christian join ranks and defend the heathens... it always goes the same way...their argument is that God is a God of love and peace...Hog wash...The forget or ignore that He is a God of patience and forebarence...He will not strive with man forever... Next argument ...we are not to judge...Horsefeathers...Ye shall know them by their fruits...if we are not to judge then why did Jesus tell us how and give us warnings about carefully and prayfully proceeding... It almost make us want to retreat behind church walls and hide there till Peace Does Ride in on a Horse... problem is...there are as many sitting in the pews these days as there are on the streets...the real scary ones are the ones standing in the pulpits and at the teachers lecturns...

it always goes the same way...their argument is that God is a God of love and peace...Hog wash...The forget or ignore that He is a God of patience and forebarence...He will not strive with man forever... Yep! Even the majority of the Christian community want to talk about God's love and grace...just don't mention His discipline of Christians (Hebrews 12:6) or that He allows bad things to happen to both the saved and the unsaved alike (Matthew 5:45). I get so sick of hearing 'but we're in the age of grace. He wouldn't do or allow something like that to happen..."What a load. Makes me wanna' barf. I was thrown off a 'Christian' message board not too long ago for even suggesting such a thing. They think He's a namby-pamby Jesus. Just wait... Next argument ...we are not to judge...Horsefeathers...Ye shall know them by their fruits...if we are not to judge then why did Jesus tell us how and give us warnings about carefully and prayfully proceeding... Exactly! That's the most misunderstood and misused Scripture in the Bible. We are to judge by His Word itself! NOT by how things appear to us: "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." (John 7:24 KJV)In other words, judge according to the truth of a matter with the Word, not by being preferential toward a person. We're seeing alot of this in the news today with special treatment being given celebreties...

While we are venting a little...if I hear "but I'm a New Testament Saint." one more time I think I'm gonna be sick.
So does that make them more saved than David, Jacob, Joseph, Issac, Moses, Abraham...or any of the other Old Testament Saints? I guess that is the same as the Age of Grace thing you are getting...
Hebrews 11 makes it clear enough but it goes right over most's heads. The OT Saints were going only on a hope...we have the promise...they looked forward to the Cross and Empty Tomb and we look back on it...
"And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect." Hebrews 11:39-40
Quoting the Scripture goes over their heads too...Oh well, tomorrow is another day...maybe.

It's not how often they go or even don't go...like ya said it's what they do while there. Most churches today (pick ANY denomination) are nothing more than uppity social clubs. They may know the Bible, & may even know the Author, may truly be saved...but they have never taken the time to really KNOW Christ, or our Father...or (GASP) the Holy Ghost! I've read books, even met & could say I personally know the Author...but that a far cry from knowing him good enough to say we're friends...or even just associates. The same holds true with our Lord & God.
