Watching several things over the past few days.

We are watchmen on the wall and charged with the job of sounding out when we see a messenger coming across the desert toward the city walls...be he friend, or be he foe.

This is neither friend nor foe, but some of both...it is "God's hand in the glove of history" as a ole theology professor used to say. It is prophecy unfolding right in front of us if I am understanding the Bible correctly.

We are seeing China, Russia, and Iran allying and several other un-named nations too. I bet I can, using the Bible, name the other nations...Isaiah 38-39 allies. They are conducting joint military exercises. Let's throw Psalm 83 in the mix too.

But the Big one is the banking crisis...started in the US and is having a cascade effect around the world. Keep an eye out for a man who will say he can solve the whole problem. It hasn't gotten that bad yet but looks like it is headed that way.

If this is the events described in the Bible...we may very soon be hearing a trump and a shout...Let's Roll!

Then all hell is literally going to break loose on the earth.

So many passages in the Bible are occurring to me...it is hard to pick one.

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

Speaking of a future satanic and evil leader...

"For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders..." 2 Thessalonians 2:7-9.

Again...Speaking of a future satanic and evil leader...he has a bow but no arrows. He will conquer the world and never fire a shot.

"And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer." Revelation 6:2

But the loudest is this...

"He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." Revelation 22:20

That is my prayer...even so...come Lord Jesus!

I mentioned at a couple of fellowships/Bible studies/prayer sessions, that we have not yet faced persecution here in the west for our faith. I mentioned that we as Brethren need to be prepared to stand steadfast in our armor with shields lock and follow in the footsteps of the early Church and our Brethren in Islamic and communistic countries. I encourage a uniting in Christ with Acts 4 as our guidebook. They provided for anyone who lacked. KInd of reminded of the old story about "Stone Soup".. God bless.
