Gonna watch the Macey's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV...play on the internet,
and this evening will be having Thanksgiving Day dinner with my children.
Hoping and praying for a good and most thankful day for all of us and for all of your and your families and friends!!!
Now let us all march forth, say grace, and eat turkey!!!

Calling my Mama at my sisters in Cuba, MO, and my Brother in Russellville, AR, for Thanksgiving. My wife Kathy has her children and grandchildren to her house in Wilsey, and my son and I have a couple plates reserved at the 1st Baptist Community Dinner here in Council Grove, and will fellowship with so many who gather and partake. Our Thrift Store donates $500 to 1st Baptist for the Thanksgiving Dinner and $500 for Christmas dinner. Their members are so precious in sacrificing their own family dinners on the day to serve a couple of hundred meals. Is a special time of gathering and fellowship for us all.

Going to go put Christmas flowers on mom and dad’s grave. Then going to go get Christmas stuff out of storage, going to try to get a small tree up. Kids will be here for Christmas. Wouldn’t worry about it if it weren’t for our grandaughter. Trying to get as much done as I can before surgery.

Hoping and praying for a regular Sunday...Sunday School, Church, lunch, a nap, and a ride with my boys...
We have hanging of the greens today, and decorating the Tree. Always a pretty service.

Resting this morning,then work a little on laundry and making meatballs for our Senior Christmas Party baked and sauce made and frozen. Then making my great Aunt Mary’s homemade fruitcake. That’s the plan. Might not all happen today. Getting as much done as I can so hubby can just pull food out, put in crockpot and go to party. I will only be 2 days post op, so I will be home with my “babysitter “ aka SIL. I have a lot to get done before Thursday.

Packing away summer clothes and getting out winter clothes. Making meatballs and bbq sauce for our senior party this Saturday. Going to get them ready for hubby to just dump them in crockpot. Will mix crockpot hot chocolate later in the week or coach hubby how to do it.Finishing laundry, and baking my great Aunts fruitcake for Christmas. Candy my own fruit for it. Make sugar cookies to freeze. That’s the plan anyway, since surgery is coming up Thursday. Trying to stay on top of my Christmas stuff
