Lord,
We know You have the helm of this ship, but still we pray for Israel. Obama is going to be there for the next few days. We know it is an opportunity for trouble and we are praying there will be none...on any front.

Lord, we ask for your protection and to calm our spirits as we enter a very dangerous time in the Middle East. We have seen times like this before, but for me it seems different this time. What has not changed is your promise to be with us during these times, to never leave us nor forsake us.
We are on the edge, we don't know where this will go, what the outcome will be. Father, draw us near so that we can know and feel your presence. We are so thankful that as your children we have the assurance that you are with us.
"Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace"
No matter how freighting the situation is right now, today, we leave it in your hands for your will and Glory to be seen. We turn our eyes toward you...... Amen
