Father we ask please watch over the children as they travel back to Arkansas this day, and for those precious ones as they journey to Nebraska. Dear Abba, Father please envelope them with Your love, draw them near, hold them close, lift them up, and guide them safely through, in Jesus' name.

Please Abba, Father forgive our sins, our failures, our frailty and weakness. Dear Abba, Father we pray for strength, that no matter what the day brings we will stand in faith and absolute certainty. We pray for a deepening measure of faith, and that we might be ever more yielded to You first and foremost.

Please Dear Father watch over those who we embrace in our hearts, and please move and minister in each of their areas of need, according to Your perfect will and eternal love for Your precious children, in Jesus' name we pray. Thank You Abba, Father.

Please Abba, Father we have so many dear-ones whom we love, embrace in our heart and prayers, whom we desire that they be cherished and blessed by You. Please Abba, Father would You move and minister and bless these precious ones in every area of need, in Jesus' name. So many are struggling with health needs, sickness, disease, and infirmity. Help them Dear Abba, Father that they would be healed and fully restored, in Jesus' name. Father we pray for wisdom for the caregivers, a deepening measure of faith, that if it is Your will to heal when they get Home, that they would be strengthened for the journey. Your will be done Abba, Father on earth as it is in Heaven.

Dear Abba, Father our heart is burdened this day for the lost, for those who have so far rejected Christ Jesus our Lord, that the shackles of bondage upon the heart would be broken, the scales dropped from blinded eyes, and that Your eternal love from that rugged Tree of Calvary would come shining through, and that our Lord Jesus Christ would find and be received in open hearts and arms. Please Father help them to find Your salvation, and to be born-again, redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb of God.

Thank You dear Abba, Father for another precious day, for bringing the travelers safely home again, and bringing us through times of difficulty and testing. All praise, all honor, all glory to You, through and in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Thank You Abba, Father for Your perfect will and eternal love for Your precious children.

Dear Father we place this day and the days ahead into Your Hand. We place ourselves, all of our dear-ones and every fiber of our being into Your keeping, and turn the reins of our will over to You for the guiding, leading and directing according to Your perfect will. Please move and minister healing for my Grandaughter's infected finger, that it would be healed and restored in Jesus' name. Please keep the dear-ones safe who are impacted by the fires in Colorado. There are so many dear-ones who are embraced in our heart who are going through trials of health issues, are incapacitated by disease, are crippled and enduring great trials and heartaches. Dear Abba, Father we lift them up, and place their desperate needs into Your Hand and eternal love for Your precious children. Please help them Father!! We pray for an ever deepening measure of faith that as we encounter the valley of trail, that we will be able to look up and see You there before us, and be given the needed strength for the crossing.

We are bone dry down here Father, with the green grass like tinder, and large numbers of folks with great quantities of fireworks. We have tremendous heat during the day, with large numbers of folks, bodies of beckoning water, fast boats and large coolers of beer and alcohol. Dear Abba, Father we pray that Your Hand would be upon us, that You would keep the careless from hurting themselves and especially from hurting the vulnerable. Grant us strength, endurance, vigilance, and fire protection from children with wayward incendiaries. Help our fire departments to control the fires during this marathon of havoc, and to be able to respond effectively to each and every need. We cannot persevere without Your Hand to lead us Father, without Your measure of strength within us, and so we will do all we can in areas that we can, and what we cannot do anything about we place in Your Hand. A hedonistic marathon begins, and dear Abba, Father we pray that You will bring us through to the finish line, according to Your perfect will and eternal love for Your precious children.

In the name of our Lord, our Savior, the Lamb of God, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, our Savior, God manifest in the Flesh, we pray, the Your perfect will be done, and we praise, and glorify You for Your Majesty and Your eternal love for Your precious children. Thank You Abba, Father.

This was an e-mail I sent out to our Fire Chief and his dear wife this morning:

Hi Karen and Rich;

Six days down and four more to go. It just seems like God has His Hand on us and it is like He is snuffing out the wayward sparks. Every day this week has been like a weekend, and yesterday was a bit on the busy side. We had some of our hardcore party folks decide to take their vacation this week so for six days it has been a bit hectic as the group has been active. I know the false call yesterday was such an aggravation, but it was sure a comfort that we could all roll, and I would rather saddle-up a dozen times and not be needed.

Last evening we had big night-works going off for an hour and a half. They kicked-in at 9:15 and shut down at 11:00. It was one after another of big stuff like we shoot in our display, all around the lake, and a huge volume at the shelter house. I stepped through the evergreens north of the house, and it was all over the shelter house circle, and there were no sparks drifting into the hay meadow north of the Caretaker's with my connected line of evergreens against the house. Big relief!!!!

There were volumes of sparks drifting over the shelter house and over the uncut hay meadow to the north, adjacent to the NE set of cabins. I almost staged #955 ready, but I knew from the wind and the roadways that I would have some time to attack if needed. Just staying a bit primed all during.

They shut down right at 11:00 PM, and I was amazed when I drove around at 11:00 to shut them down if needed, there was not a single spark, glowing ember or rising smoke from the area. A third of the full width patio at the shelter house was completely covered in firework display boxes, but all was safe and secure. I am still shaking my head in amazement this morning, for there was a huge number of glowing sparks drifting to the north over the bone dry meadow. It was like the Lord snuffed each one out before it could ignite.

Amen! And please pray for all those who raise livestock; corn prices are skyrocketing due to anticipated corn crop failure across the US, and many ranchers have had to start feeding hay to keep the cattle alive. Some have had to start hauling water to the cattle. Many are starting to sell their herds.

It is hard to watch. My husband, my father, and many other cattlemen we know are very worried about current conditions.

I am sorry if this belongs in a different thread, but Caretaker has already been praying about this sort of thing in this thread so I put it here.
