Racing to EternityBy Arley Steinhour 092012 Open, 'Heart-eyes,' and see with me, Heaven, where we cannot find Mortal life, Mortality is One-Time-Race, we see, Win or Lose, Life-training, is filled with strife. We, ALL, are Racers, each and every one, Lane, block, and shoe, different shape and size, Love, Pain, and Strife, affect how well we run. Yet, the Lane, determines our winner prize. Born, into the competition, of this one-time mortal race, We hear competitors, mumble and grumble, Avoiding, narrow, rocky lane (a foreboding place), Narrow, close to Starter, as if he wants to see us stumble. "I'd quit this scene," we mumble, "But, it's the only 'True-race' in town, I'll just make sure that I don't stumble, So I won't look like those other 'Racing Clown'." We, believe, that We are good enough, To win this Life-race, on our own, There's no way, for us, to 'Have the Stuff,' Race print says, 'we Can't win, if we Race alone.' A tap, we feel, on bare shoulder, It's the Starter, with a gift, we find, We wonder, 'What, a Sip of Wine, and Cracker? I think this Starter's lost his Mind.' "Believe in Me, and you'll win the race," 'What, This Starter wants me to cheat? I'll compete, as 'I' put every step in place, Rock dodging, part of making my win complete.' The Starter, smiles, and nod's His plea, again, Before He turns, to walk away, Heart-voice accepts, and repents our Sin, To Starter, one fate-filled, race-in-progress, day. We wonder, how he did that, The race had started, when all came clear, Lane narrow, but rocks gone, like rabbit in hat, We hear Angelic spectator's begin to cheer. Even before, we reach life's end, We know the proof, that we have won, Knowing, full-well, that we have sinned, the Starter Judges, through His only Starter Son. Life Race we win, without a single loss, By Receiving Salvation, through His Grace, 'Last leg,' pre-won, without 'Sin-Dross,' At Wedding Table, we have Honored Place. World class giver, or crippled beggar, All, will one day, cross finish line, Will Jesus weep, as off to Hell we stagger, Or Sing with joy, with us, in 'Hugging Line?' We Choose the Lane, Life the Starting Block, Accepting Jesus, we walk the walk, Eternity, in Heaven, with Belief upon the 'Rock,' Bride of Christ, Complete; Let's Talk. AMEN Do you feel you need to run away, Does anyone seem to give a care Is there hatred in all work and play, Turn to Jesus, He's always there. The RAGs We OfferBy Arley Steinhour 092212 Samekh (supported by) Pro 1 So many people of today, With 'god's of man,' do worship-play, The Ah's, the Ohm's, and twisted limb, Cannot Save; but brings smile to HaShem. God, tells us that doing the physical, Can never pay the price, Of Eve and Adam's error, historical, Naught we do, can ere suffice. God Loves us, with such great weight, He sent His only Son to pay, Execution Death, only, can dissipate, Unto Redemption, no other way. All other religions, those man-bent, Demand you, suffer, do, and, pay, So, when you stand before judgment, You 'might, 'qualify' for eternal sway. The One True God, will, as a Gift, Forgive, and mark you 'Paid Complete,' Between Him and you, no more a 'Rift,' Through Blood of Christ, poured at His feet. Not standing, what you see in life, No matter, tribulation, or great strife, Salvation can't be earned, playing drum and fife, Total 'Surrender,' and 'Repentance;' can be God's Wife. No mortal dogma can ever pass the Test, To live amongst Angels, as God's Best, Outside God's Gate, there is no Rest, In the Lake of Fire, Satan's Nest. Manmade faith, flawed, incomplete, Though it may make you feel so neat, Look to Jesus, not sole of feet, Surrender, so you’ll be, Complete. AMEN Dedicated to a very dear friend, who knows I reach out with love. May that person see 'choice's' error, and become a part of life, Above. I do not argue, very well, with results often destructive. With Spirit's help, I may say, the key word that's constructive. Only Jesus, willingly died, to pay our debt, None Other. Hanging in the middle, Which way do I go, Only One way, don’t 'Play the Fiddle,' He paid ‘Redemption,’ so, I Know. Archive & Pic at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/49610/

Intensity of LoveBy Arley Steinhour 092212 When you love, with intensity, Folks oft have propensity, To think that their love is for self. Forgeting to pass along, That love with a happy song, They'll cling to it, or place on a shelf. A love that deep, Can, never sleep, It only can lift one up. They must, be not afraid, Of, how Love game is played, Remembering the love they did sup. Great Blessing, is Love, When it comes from Above, To nurture the best that one can. Love lost, does display, Other soul went away, Cherish love left, like gold in a pan. On that love 'building block,' And, you walk in God's walk, Even, more love may still come your way. But, should it not come, You still have your Plumb, To remember, as a kiss, every day. True Love, is being able to let go of the one you Love, cherishing the time you had, as you hold it close, in gratitude. AMEN Sweet Balm poured on feet, Wiped dry with Covering Fair, Feeds Agape Love, 'Feast-Meat,' Filling cup, as none other compare. Archive & Pic at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/49611/

Day of AtonementBy Arley Steinhour 092312 Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), Is about to play the day, For Jews, a very important moment, Where their sin is taken away. Judeo Christian, has the key, That keeps sin, full away, Accepting Jesus, on bended knee, Yom Kippur is, each and every day. One day soon, Messiah, Jesus, Open's each and every heart, As king and Savior, no more fuss, Sin and Satan, no more a life-part. All of this, won't happen fast, It takes a Thousand, and Seven years, For total cleansing, and Sin be past, With God, all as one, Heavenly Cheers. Today, there's alternate belief, Called 'religions,' one and all, Where 'doing,' might give relief, If you're perfect, and don't fall. The Bible is the only Way, It offers Salvation, free and clear, Through Repentance, as you say, 'In Jesus' name,' so God can hear. Holy Spirit fills your heart, You start to change you ways, House cleaning then does truly start, You'll live cleaner, more lively, days. He doesn't promise health and gain, Problems will come needing resolution, Be it health, or loss, gain from that rain, Growing wisdom from life's institution. As a child of God, keep in memory, He placed us in this mortal life, To train us for our destiny, To be His, Eternal Wife. AMEN At the Temple, Jesus soon rebuilds, Many Peoples, will sing and pray, Prayer and laughter flows oer street, and field, Though there's work, it's more like play. Yom Kippur PraiseBy Arley Steinhour 092612 Yom Kippur Day 5773 I must learn to Praise you, in morning, early, Reading the news, my mind sour's squirrely, Lying cries fly as high as the sky, Obvious falsehoods, with a sparkle in eye. The leaders of those who would kill us, Present like a brother, concealing a Bus, Accusing our lifestyle, like, what they own, Loving our neighbor, they say, must be outgrown. They can't stand our 'pushy' way, of offering help, To peoples, in need, as it makes them a whelp, Offering hatred, to quell need for giving, Refusal, is excuse, for stopping our living. Beware, you say, of those looking like lamb, Having deep growling voice of the 'Anti-I Am,' That wolf, in sheep's clothing, a dangerous sort, From whom, one need rebuild, a well-stocked Church/Fort. Change, in the White House, as the dollar is almost dead, Does little good, if not owning, a repossessed bed, A roof, called a bridge, a box for the night, No food or water, we become horrendous sight. We know that you're coming, just don't quite know when, To settle this problem of Hating, and Sin-filled Fen. A few, 'Keep the Watch,' receiving contempt-filled deride, But, true to your word, we stand tall and don't hide. Celebrating Fall Feast's, Yom Kippur, be today, Day you forgive, as Azazel carries Sin away. Messiah, the Jew will accept in very near day, They'll understand they only needed to pray. All your Will, must be done, to make things complete, Salvation in You, in Repentance, we'll sit at your feet, Eternity comes, once Final Judgment ends Mortality, And those who belong, will no end, forever to see. Just YOU, me, us, We, we're forever FREE. AMEN The Temple of Herod, fantastic they say, Millennial Temple makes this a house of play, That Temple, from which our Jesus will Rule, For One-Thousand years, be 'Way_More_Cool.' RSVP to Jesus PleaseBy Arley Steinhour 092812 In Heaven, there's a lot of things, Not seen, or heard, too well on earth, That's why, All, in Heaven Sings, When we choose to step into New Birth. Holy Spirit, doesn't tell us, Exactly, all we'll see and know. Like describing a Greyhound bus, Parked on a needle, here below. Our finite mind can't understand, Until expanded through Rebirth, Seeing more of what God's planned, Compared to this, our mortal earth. To see a tree, in frolicked sway, In stream of breeze's whispered play, Carrying odors beyond any human 'say;' Enjoyed, through Spirit, no other way. Perhaps, the flowers choral, In an octave beyond the ear, Joy beyond the eye seen floral, Even taste buds, want to cheer. Path rocks massage sole of feet, Unyielding, but marshmallow soft, And when you want to fly is neat, Rocks push, as you spring aloft. There are no Tare in Heaven, Only Wheat, we choose see and do, Determined by our mortal Leaven, The least, in Heaven, is Angel True. Come, join me, in God's Eternity, Not, be with Satan, in Flaming Sea, With Jesus, only Love's Prosperity, Love, in Hell, a nothing, hyperbole'. AMEN This painting might start mortal song, It's plain to see the color is wrong, This dullness shown, don't quite belong, Repent and know how, before very long. Gestation GuestimationBy Arley Steinhour 092912 Lord, My first thought was kind-of smug, What is this thing called Life, I live, I'm warm and Oh-so snug, Where is this mortal thing called Strife? as guest, in womb, I grow, and on my way, Toward the life, you made me for, I know, that there'll be work and play, Before I graduate to Heaven's door. I feel my person taking shape, How large will I grow, Human formed, from cellular crepe, My final size, only you know. Trimester One, behind this soul called me, With a question in my beating heart, Where can all those other souls be, I felt near, right at the start? One by one, many soul's weren't there, How could they just disappear, Why, Lord, this life, they couldn't share, The child, a world will not see or hear? Your answer gave me peaceful pause, You replied, 'Someday you'll understand;' Stretching and kicking, I hear 'Oh's, and Ah's,' Sometimes a gentle pat from mother's hand. Trimester Two completed, growing like a tree, Must weigh a, fighting, pound, or three, To home-stretch we go, soon, born to be, The wonderful creation, that you've made of me. I'm really getting anxious now, the space gets, smaller by the day, My growth should be described and 'WOW,' Hey, God, that birth canal, NO WAY!! His chuckle, comes to this anxious heart, 'Worry not, my child, it's all as I have planned, When mom pushes, you'll do your part, Birth complete, when in the doctors hand.' Words can't express the tribulation pain, Poor mom felt, through my birthing-time, Overwhelming Love, for me, my gain, Completed bond, as Angelic bells did chime. Arriving to the here and now, a shock, I look around but world I can't yet see, I'm naked, cold, can cry, but not talk, Oh, God, Is this what you planned for me??? ..amen.. Birth of child, has wondrous worth, It seems, few people understand, All that God put into 'Birth,' Before holding child in hand. (and all the mothers say) AMEN Archive & Pic at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/49719/

Unseen SceneBy Arley Steinhour 093012 I traveled here, I traveled there, Too strong to fear, Too young to steer. My life was cool, My life the fool, Too poor to jive, Too low to hive. I tried a look, I tried a book, Too blind to see, Too slow to be. I thought I'd go, I thought I'd show, Too many miles, Too many smiles. I took a street, I took it fleet, A sorry sight, A sorry blight. I saw a child, I saw him wild, No home for him, No home for grim. I saw him thin, I saw him sin, With self no care, With brother share. I saw that life, I saw the strife, Upon that poor, Upon that shore. The owner wailed, The boy was jailed, Without for fine, Without for sign. Judgment made, Judgment Paid, Dark Jail boy goes, Dark Jail boy woes. A man paid price, A man paid nice, Redeeming Grace, Redeeming Race. Child could be free, Child could be me, Child you don't see, Child could be Thee. AMEN A Scene like this, Should never be Seen, The 'brother's keeper,' Should keep life Clean. Archive & Pic at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/49726/

Pro and ConBy Arley Steinhour 100112 We have brains, we have hearts, when it rains, we may get wet, We have moving, and growing parts; To dance with Jesus, a winning bet. So many people, gnash, and wail, Eating of life's forbidden fruit, That's why too many go to jail, Where man wears an inmate suit. Six thousand years, came and went, With life-focus on 'here and now,' Ignoring God, we're still Hell-bent, Sin-filled living, is life on a garbage scow. Our hearts are bound by prison wear, We need not suffer, if we full Repent, Baptized in Spirit, His Love, freely share, So, through Eternal, we live under God's Tent. We seem to desire, life on edge of knife, A life filled with death and Social blight, Preferring to feel the pain and strife, Refusing safe harbor, in God's 'Way and Light.' Bridegroom comes, with pomp, and horn, Snatching His Bride, those souls reborn, Leaving behind many folk forlorn, Who’ll wish they’d never been born. A Love, God-deep, can never sleep, By His Grace, Faith lifts you up, Mortality, only, should make you weep, Fear-not, when on His Love, you sup. Please join the hearts, set truly free, Through God's Holy Grace, Salvation, To be His eternal, blessed family, A Joy-filled, and Eager, God's Nation. AMEN The paths are quite clear, once one is too near, As-in, passing beyond mortal life, Repentance required, before knowing, True Fear, Or, True Joy of being God's Wife. Good Bad Ugly and RescueBy Arley Steinhour 100512 Ah-Ha, Ho Ho, a touch of snow, I think the summer's done, The dirt was warm, no snow show, But watching it was fun. The snow-man with a carrot nose, Must wait a week or three, So all parts can go right where it goes, Standing tall, not against a tree. Corn stalks, brown, and almost dry, This last crop almost in, The drought has made some farmers cry, With no grain in the bin. World crop failures, contemplated, Horse of hunger is running strong, Grim reaper can't be castigated, before great suffering comes along. A touch of joy, a touch of strife, Is what we can see today, Change of season, loss of life, For mortal sin, we pay. Without a drastic change of heart, Repentance, and change of ways, Soon the world is torn apart, In hate and strife, for many days. We may not stop the Prophecies, But can seal the place we go, Turn to Jesus, if you please, We'll play the 'Heaven Show.' AMEN Eternal life, with the only one, Who came and died for us, All other god's, just make fun, Or throw their subjects 'under the bus.' Yep, but, ahem, that version is about eight or ten years younger than the version I wear today. Ha. Thanks for the compliment, though. I have an idea of what I will look like once I graduate Home, and that photo is 'filthy rags,' by comparison to the one I was allowed to see. Yeee-Haaa, and AMEN I'm gonna be beautiful, wish it could be 'again,' but not this rendition. Hallelujah! Speaking of that, go to: : www.choicesforliving.com/spirit/angels/angels.htm (longer version, and promo), or the two minute version at: Soon. Arley

Calling for RepentanceBy Arley Steinhour 100612 It seems as if your blessing, You may have pulled away, From all the people, messing, With religious games, today. "So many ways, to heaven," Formed by our 'Vegas' mind, Dice thrown, always seven, But, no peace can many find. We've set you on a shelf, somewhere, Your way's all buried deep, We build our tower, without a care, Thinking you have gone to sleep. The Prophets forecast this sad time, When man would 'run amok,' Thinking all we say will rhyme, Not knowing, we are the joke. Disaster truly lies ahead, If we don't change our ways, Awarding, Salvation's stead, As Torment, Eternal Day's. The time is short, to Repent, We still can return to you, In your Love, this stay last bent, For 'Church' to show it's True. Consequence be Tribulation, Of Great, and Deadly kind, End of Nation after Nation, Only Satan, is easy to find. Refusal of the beastly mark, Means martyrdom, to most, Time for Christians, very dark, With a light, only, in Holy Ghost. To Jesus, Please, turn your heart, Be it first time, or re-turn, You are saved, when His 'path' you start, Sadly, any other, you will burn. AMEN You cannot fly to God, on High, By looking at the ground, Without His help, we cannot fly, Man's way, graves abound. Archive & Pic at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/49807/

Enjoying MortalityBy Arley Steinhour 100712 Sing and praise, throughout the days, When doing drudgery, unkind, Learning, funny, and enjoyable, plays, For the pain and suffering, we find. This life-season, a temporary curse, For Sin, and what we've done, Smooth Sailing comes behind the hearse, With His blessing, for race well run. Lessons learned, are needed, To enjoy completely, Eternity, Life, with strife, well seeded, To enjoy God's Paternity. Our God, is complicated, Beyond our mortal thought, Understanding Him, dissipated, Without Salvation that He bought. He paid the price, death on a tree, Where, only the worst of 'Bad,' will go, Without complaint, He made us Free, So that, Torment, we might forego. The reason for our mortal life, In this humble opinion, It teaches us the pain of strife, We will never see, in His dominion. When you recognize times, as hard, Remember, it's better than a Tree, He makes us 'Treasure,' from being a shard, Perfect, to Praise and Bless Him, Eternally. If, you've not Repented, And surrendered to His care, Salvation soon be vented, Paradise, you may not share. AMEN The Prodigal, may still return, To Father's strong embrace, Inheritance, he'll never more burn, Father cry's, 'From Death, Saved in my Grace.' Restacking the DeckBy Arley Steinhour 100712 Dear Lord, God, I'm in a quandary, So, I'm bringing it to you, About, good and bad personality, And what we're supposed to do. Your Good Book, say's good is good, And the opposite for bad, But that was when most did as should, And, others were but a fad. Today we have a shuffling error, The bad cards didn't go away, Their numbers growing to be a terror, Where all the good folk used to play. Your prophecy, now makes good, sad As the 'bad,' call themselves good, In doing that, they call good, bad, As you prophesied they would. Young folk have called good, bad, Now, for a number of years, We thought that be but a fad, Even though it burned the ears. The world is turning up-side-down, The new good folk displaying Hate, New bad folk, can only wonder and frown, Dumbly thinking this'll dissipate. If, only, folks would read your book, Your Bible tells us what we're in, Tribulation, now, starting to cook, Like Travail, the justifying of Sin. If only the bad, new good, could be, Willing to hear good, new bad, witness, Then bad, as new good, would be free, Through Cross, your Redemption business. Your Will be done, to glorify, The Holy God, you forever be, If new good, change to true good, With all that good together, both are free. Some refuse your Word as food, Preferring to take a chance, Throw away your word, unchewed, As they gamble with happenstance. Come soon, Dear Lord, sort the cards out, Confusion rules over your flock, Collect the Bride, with Bridegroom shout, Snatch all who are walking the walk. AMEN Awaiting that special moment, to Snatch the Bride away, At the time of perfect endearment, We're His for the Eternal Day. Archive & Pic. at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/49813/

Quandary DayBy Arley Steinhour 100812 I am in a quandary, My vote has broken down, B O, is 'Dirty laundry,' Now, Mitt. brings on God's frown. To take away the Land of God, To split God’s land for peace, Will bring down the ‘Iron Rod,’ On this, our Christian fleece. How do we vote, corrupted choice, Loose, loose, wrong way to go, Not voting, takes away our voice, And, does nothing to remove B O. It’s time for extra Prayer time, Mitt, must see error of his way, Catastrophe, don’t have a rhyme, To find solution, before Election day. In a way, it doesn’t matter, God’s Will be Done, His Glory, Christian gone, the rest will scatter, In God's Tribulation, Story. Frustrated, over what to do, The choice is very clear, Take Jesus as the God for you, Then develop a Spiritual ear. Already a sister, or brother; Then pass this word along, Send, 'Need for God,' yet further, More joyous voices, to sing His Song. AMEN and Quandary solved. We know that it is written, Sometimes we need review, Promises for Saved, and Smitten, As Justly dispensed, by You. Rise and Shine PrayerBy Arley Steinhour 100912 Dear Father God, What do we do, about those we love, Who refuse your offer of Love from above? The gift is there, they turn away, To mortal fare, they go to play. Your truth's, they say, In a strange mortal way, 'When, unto self, do pray, we hold godly sway.' To be like God, they want to be, But, only you, rule over the Free. I can only presume that's what they want to do, Someday, perhaps, rule over me and You? I don't know, but I do care, Their lost souls, are Satan's fare, He has deceived so many, and more, Way too many, from shore to shore. Satan is devious, giving great surprise, Souls follow him, with blinded eyes, In lake of fire, up to the neck Will have no way to re-do their trek. We walk through this mortality, Some get to end, like a dead tree, Good for fuel, but not much else, Eternal Torment, due to themselves. I pray that you do feel my alarm, May friend awaken, to your charm Repent in your arms, so Eternally Warm, Never again to face Hell's 'swarm.' The world, outside, is becoming light, Sun coming-up so very bright, In half an hour the sky will shine, As I'm telling the world, I'm yours, you're mine. AMEN A scene that should never, no, never be seen, The face of a loved-one in the pit of Hell-fire, Heaven, or Hell, there is no 'in-between, The soon Tribulation, proves Satan a 'Liar.' Please Repent to Jesus. Archive & Pic. at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/49844/

Rapture SceneBy Arley Steinhour 101112 So many people fly away, High into the sky, 'Here, then Gone,' people say, Investigators think they lie. Auto's rolling down the road, empty, as can be, Semi-truck, with a full load, Crashes into a tree. Aircraft, at Thirty thousand feet, Missing members of the crew, Half the people gone from seats, Planes crashing, and survivors few. Missing people, from their bed, We know they couldn't walk, No arms or legs, on some they said, The comatose, who can't walk or talk. There is a way to not be here, If you wonder, reading this, Know that Jesus loves you dear, He offers life, through His; He came to earth to pay a price, Not you, nor I, could pay, Accepting Him, we don't die twice, Die mortal, then in immortal way. Some time, before the Rapture, You need make peace with God, Time of Jesus' coming, no man is sure, Refusing Jesus, bears the Iron Rod. Those of you still reading, Should know, I'll not be here, You may be Tribulation seeding, For a short life, that has no cheer. AMEN At the rapture please look down, To see if your feet are on the ground, I they are, you'll probably frown, Never again will you hear that sound. Birthday BashBy Arley Steinhour 101312 This Prairie Lad, grew, and went to sea, Blue horizons on his mind, Joined the Navy, to keep man Free, Removing enemy we could find. First thing that the Navy did, Was teach me Morris Coding, Placed on a ship, not well hid, Twas a Tender, for Supply loading. I manned the rail to watch the ships, Leave harbor, for Ocean Blue, Months later, they'd return to slips, From Foreign Ports, trained True. Over twenty years, on Sub's, and Ships, I rode the oceans of the world, Ports of call, God's wonder, safe slips, On occasion, with Battle Flag, unfurled. I saw ships, go from oil-burners, To the Nuclear, fighting machine, Aircraft go from propeller churners, To Mach-two, cutting air so clean. Halfway through my twenty-plus, A Sailor, stepped upon the Moon, Neil took that small step, for all of us, Harbinger of new things, coming soon. We started out on Ships of Sail, With a hundred swab and marine, Weren't much bigger than a whale, Now the Carrier, a city sized machine. Thirteen, October, Seventeen, Seventy-Five, This out-back people, to be a Nation, did strive, A navy, of sorts, must then come to life, Armed traders, fought British drum and fife. Today's the day that is set aside, It's Navies Birthday, for all to know, Humble beginnings, industry, applied, We Sail all the Sea's, above, and below. AMEN Once, 'Full Ahead' meant every Sail, Today, 'Top Rev.' on every Screw, Not much bigger, than a whale, Ten Knots about all she'd do.
