pray that america's churches heart's have a fire lit to spread the gospel with renewed passion
many churches and many christians here have become too complacent and seeker-sensitive and politically correct

Big Amen to that! Our borthers and sisters of the persecuted church have been praying for us to come under persecution to strengthen our faith.

Dear Father,
Today, as you know, I've got a slow business day. It makes me think of other people. I see so much division, fighting, and hate in our church people against each other. I pray that we will all look past our differences and remember that, first of all, we are Your children.
I look out my window, and I see the sunlight reflecting off of all the snow; it reminds me of Your light, and I pray that all of Your children here in the US will turn to you and leave all the petty thoughts and actions that they have right now.
Can't they see You? Can't they hear You? Do they want You? I pray that they do. I see little reminders of You in every creature that I treat--from the tiny newborn kitten to the 250 lb Irish Wolfhound. Everything in their bodies works together. I pray than we could work together just like that!
I must be selfish, because I don't want to go through persecution. But I want everyone to be closer to each other and to You, Lord; so I will follow no matter where You lead me.
May all of America's churches become revived and turn to the gospel with great passion. Forgive us, Lord, for our lukewarm thoughts and actions toward you.
Amen.
