A friend asked me today if I knew of a passage in the Bible that talked bout littering...she read about it in a book some time ago and was trying to remember what it is.
I suggested it might pertain to Romans 13:1-3...
Do you have any ideas?

And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. (Isaiah 66:20)

Isaiah 66:20 is talking about a covering when it says litter, like the covered wagons of Numbers 7:3. Same Hebrew word: 'tsaub'...
Nothing I can find for you specifically about littering, Marilyn.

I don't have a verse, but would littering fall under how we are to care for what God has given us? As in stewardship, or caretaking? I think littering would be an abuse of what God has given us.

I had the same thought, Donna but didn't try to find any appropriate verses for it.
