God bless you;
We are facing a possible major winter storm with 12+" of snow blowing at 20-30 mph. Could be a bit dicey by morning. Putting the blade and chains on the pu and tractor and getting ready.
Maybe Y'all could remember us Kansans in your prayers.
Father we pray that You would have Your hand upon us and our family, and all who venture forth this weekend. Please envelope us in Your love, fill our hearts with Your joy and an ever deepening measure of faith, and guide us upon the pathways of Your perfect will and eternal love for Your precious children, in Jesus' name.

Amen! Keep us informed Drew. It looks terrible on the news... The weather looks horrible on the weather station radar for Caretaker. I pray that Caretaker and all he cares for is kept safe and--as much as possible--warm and dry.

God Bless you;
Thankfully we have had just freezing rain and sleet through this morning. Up at 3:30 AM, there was nothing coming down until after daylight. About a half-inch of ice on roadways and vehicles but the slush made the ice more slushy, and less slick. Had two vehicles stuck, one sideways in a ditch as deep as the width of the truck. Got them pulled out. Kids without alot of sense and caution.
Now we have heavy snow but only going to 1-3" so not a big drifting problem.
Some power outages, and my kids at Wilsey may be down for a couple of days.
May our Father continue to watch over us.

Great news brother! The nearest snow to us is a hundred miles out. Didn't see a single flake here. The Lord continue to keep you safe...

85 degrees...! It was about 60 degrees here today with rain. Been raining off and on for about 2 weeks. Needed the rain, and thankful for it, but we are all ready for some warmer weather and sunshine.
Glad to hear you didn't get that 12 inches of snow Caretaker...still praying for you all...sunshine and springtime.

God bless you;
It has been a major blessing for me. At 3:30 AM Saturday there was a pie shaped opening directly over us with heavy snow to the west and icing to the east. It stayed clear till daylight, and then started-up again. We had a half inch to an inch of crumbly ice on the roads from sleet and freezing rain, but was drivable.
A few miles east the power poles were snapping and lines going down. We flickered but never lost power for more than a few minutes.
Sixty miles west all the way to Colorado and down to Oklahoma the roads were closing do to 4'-6' drifts and one area reported 28" of snow.
Jan's Blazer had the doors froze shut and I used a half gallon of deicer to open-up the seam and pop the door open. She followed a salt truck the twelve miles of blacktop into Council Grove.
Was amazing how we were spared, and a blessing for this old feller.
