Thanks so much DB and Marilyn. Prayers from our brothers and sisters are like a dressing on a wound. They ease the pain.
Everyone is doing fine and taking comfort in knowing Stella is no longer in a wheelchair. We're headed to the faim today to spend time with the brothers and sisters.

God bless you my brother and Nita, and family. I preached a message entitled "The day Grace changed everything"., Reading that statement you said about no more wheelchairs......... caused the joy bells to ring again!! I thank God there was a day when His grace gave me and all those who have trusted in the shed blood of Jesus Christ the strength to face these times, .... May the peace that passes understanding be granted to the family even now, right now, where ever ya'll may be !!!!!!

In yesterday's edition of the West Plains Daily Quill:
A fellowship for family and friends of Stella Louise Montgomery Cardwell, 74, West Plains, Mo., will be held at noon Saturday, March 22, 2008, at the family home. Mrs. Cardwell died 7:39 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, in Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Squires, Mo., to George and Isabelle Kaup Montgomery, and was raised by her grandmother, Clara Jaksch. On April 20, 1952, she was married at Englewood, Colo., to Lowell Clayson Cardwell, who preceded her in death March 18, 2002. While living with paralysis herself, Mrs. Cardwell became a strong advocate for the disabled.
She is survived by five children, Brad Cardwell, Lisa Marie Cardwell, Steve Cardwell, Rick Cardwell, wife, Sherry, and Nita Weaver, husband, Keith; and two grandchildren, Crystal Cardwell and Amber Cardwell. Her parents, husband and one brother preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Plains Regional Animal Shelter and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

I am so sorry to have missed this. Please know that you and sister Nita remain in my daily prayers. May the Lord sustain you with the many wonderful memories you have shared with Stella over the years.
