There is so much that I can't say but I'm sure you can get an idea from the following (publicly available) information: A member of this message board is facing 14 (yes, fourteen) counts of "Lewd and Lascivious Molestation of a Child Under the Age of 12". If convicted, each count carries a life sentence. Please pray for the young victim and his family. |

We never know what is going on on the other side of our monitors . . . that is the one real shortcoming of the internet, and the local church remains an invaluable asset in the lives of believers.
Praying that justice will be faithfully distributed to the guilty, and that the comfort that only God can bring will be yours.

Sally, of course all of God's love and comfort are yours to possess also as a child of God. There is no way one can know what is in the heart of another, the pains and the trials that overwhelm them (and us). We can only pray that you will find the wisdom to accept the instruction that follows in the wake of your personal tragedy. Please remember that it is still in the Book that "All manner of sin shall be forgiven" - accept that heavenly forgiveness, and strive to find the forgiveness of those effected.
Please seek out and involve yourself with a good ministry of Bible study and fellowship in the months ahead, and always . . . always . . . always remember . . .
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (I John 1:9).
How we all need to remember these precious words of God's promises!
