Brothers Bob and Virgil, you guys making me chuckle, thanks, I needed that. By our loving God's grace and mercy He is making the drugs coursing through me to work as designed. He has lifted me up, set me gently into the computer chair where I have grown these many years and love to serve Him and told me in my prayers, I'm not done with you yet.
I asked Him when I got to my hospital room if He would bless me and let me know why I was there or or since I couldn't even do as much as lift an arm from the bed if He wanted to bring me on Home. I didn't get an answer that night, or immediately the next morning, nor did I 'hear His audible voice' say anything. He simply let me realize after the first couple of times it happened why He placed me there: Every nurse that came into my room to give me a shot, or a bath, or therapy, or simply check on me I asked if they knew the Lord. I told them of His sustainment, we talked of His salvation, many of them heard me and my Pastor and brother Brad openly praying softly in my room.
And suddenly it struck me why I was there. I may never know specifically which person I came into contact with needed to hear these things, but it may be for only Him to know this side of the Kingdom. He'll let me know when it's time. I simply trust Him, thank Him for the opportunity, and ask Him to please continue to use me as He sees fit.
I thank all of you brothers and sisters for your continued prayers. I love you all so much, I appreciate your contributions to the ministry, I cherish our time here together and so look forward to our time together in the Kingdom.

Amen Keith...
don't know if you know but between Sylvia and I we set up a prayer chain that spanned the country...on FB.
This has renewed my belief that prayer is very powerful...
We go to the Father, and in Jesus name thank Him for all of our opportunities to show His grace and the loving care He provides for each one of us...
Am reminded that God never promised us an easy ride thru this life...but He does promise us one glorious and grand landing! Smooth and sweet!

Paul reminds us that we sorrow not as others which have no hope, so it just naturally happens that we are not ones that worry and fret like those that do not know the Lord. We have a solid assurance that whatever happens to us whether it is good or bad in the world's estimation - we know that our Lord has a purpose. I learned that truth in a most powerful and personal way over the last six months as aunt Snoopy dealt with her trial.
Today was her last official chemo treatment and they doused her with bubbles to note the blessed event. Then they walked her to the patients receiving their infusions and told them what an inspiration she was. When she first came to them she was bloated and could not walk, almost everyone believed that hers was very doubtful to see remission. One nurse said that on the days she feels like quitting the profession, my wife's name flashes to her mind and what they were able to do with God's help for her. She said that it was her task to have faith, pray and hope for each patient - and then watch God work.
Praise God that He loves us enough to use us in ways that we will never understand this side of eternity - that we might see others there who are there because His children live in such a way that the world can see we have hope!

You've been on my mind today, Keith...oddly enough while I was making beef stew! Praying that God will continue to use you, sustain you and keep you centered on His Word and His Will. I am blessed to call you one of my online friends! Continue to get well, my Friend!
