So I would like to start with the praise. Last night my daughter Tiffany called me just wanting to chat. We hadn't talked in a couple of weeks and she has just been swamped. Imagine my surprise when she dropped this little nugget "Ewald (her boyfriend) and I started going to church and we've joined a couples Bible study group. We just felt something was missing and think this is what we need." Well praise God her mama just stood on the lanai looking up at the stars with tears running and just praising God that He is moving in thier lives. They want God to help them strengthen thier relationship and to guide them. Can ya'll just jump up and down and say AMEN!!!! You all know that my greatest regret is not raising my children with God and my prayer every night is that He will move within thier lives and hearts.
Please pray that Brian and I will be able to continue to go forward. We have some bids on the inverter but it's not where we need it to be in order to get the dental work that he so desperately needs. His health is suffering badly now because of this. And his job has had no work at all this week and they are telling him that he may only get 2 or 3 days a week going forward until they can line up more work. We will know next Monday whether or not the layoff will be permanent. We did have some good sales last weekend which allowed us to make the bills so God continues to provide. And I know that God has our backs but the stress is pretty bad right now. So could use ya'll keeping us in your prayers.

I understand that they need to repent and give thier lives over to Christ. But this is the first positive step I've seen. And the fact that she actually said they feel that God is what is missing in thier lives gives me great hope that the Spirit is working on them. It is my greatest prayer for my children to come to God.

So I just got a call from a company in St. Pete that I sent my resume in to and I have an interview tomorrow at 10AM. Pray please that God will guide this.

Ari my 12 yo granddaughter is absolutely loving going to church. I want so badly for them all to come to God so that we can all go home together. Can't imagine heaven without my family.

Well just got home and the interview went for 2 1/2 hours. I hope thats a good sign. I won't know anything until next week. Keep us in your prayers please.

Idysli, My apology, my advice wasn't really advice, but a reminder as to how close we are to being Snatched, and Salvation by Grace being withdrawn. I pray you get the job you want, plus Tiffany, and Ewald hang their Mortality of Sin, on the Cross, with Jesus, soon.
My panic is for all unsaved, who become 'Saved,' one second after the Bridegrooms Snatching. AMEN

navyblue I didn't take any offense at all. The fact that they are not right with God rests squarely on my shoulders. I failed as a mother to raise them with God and my prayer is that God will not let them perish for my mistake. Haha Duck! Yes, it would take far too long to tell that and I wouldn't want to go there to begin with!  Nita, we discussed so many things in addition to the actual interview. I was really comfortable with Debbie (the purchasing manager) and we found a lot of common ground. None of us really realized how much time had gone by until someone knocked on the door to remind her of a meeting she had. I'm hoping that it bodes well and she said they would be making a fairly quick decision and I could know as soon as Monday. |

Just got the phone call and my offer letter will be here within the hour. I got the job! Praise God who is always so good and provides even to someone like me.
