Told y'all about the crisis at my church. Well, the Lord seems to have answered our prayers and sent us Pastor Glen and his wife Kay...Intentional Interim Pastor, to help us all get on the same page...
Two weeks ago the pain in Kay's back got so bad that they went to the emergency room and it was discovered that Kay had a cyst and two ruptured vertebrae in her back...They did surgery the next day and put in screws, a rod, and fused the two vertebra. Now Kay is out of the hospital and in rehab but they are older people...in their 70s and the going is slow. The pain level is very high...Glen is so torn...between ministering to Alton Baptist here and being with his wife who is having such a hard time...
He asked us last night for prayers to help him know which way to go...he wants to stay with us because we are beginning to pick up momentum...but he want also to be with his wife who really needs him now...She is in Richmond where they live when Glen is not Pastoring...
It is a gut retching decision...which way to go...
Deacons and Pastor Glen are meeting tonight to see what can be done.
Asking for your prayers...asking the Lord which way should we go?...Please give us direction...
In Jesus name...Amen.

There is a lot of praying and prayers for Revival in our church...ole fashioned revival, gut retching, clothes renting, repenting revival!!! I think the Devil is on the prowl and is trying to stop what we have going...
I am praying it doesn't work...
