JT is an old probationer, addict who has done time and is now out...he has contacted me via FB. He went on a short trip to Kentucky with friends who took him to church. He discovered Jesus and has been saved. His mother is a Unis and Lois type who had introduced JT to Jesus as a child...
He contacted me to talk about it all...when I asked him about where the church is, the church he said was in Kentucky but JT lives near Richmond, Va...
Asked him if he knows of a church in his area where he would like to go...he said he didn't, so I contacted a Pastor I know who gave me the names of 2 contemporary style churches near where JT lives...He was very excited and said he was going to check the churches out...both have worship bands and JT is a musician...a good one.
I started praying because I know what happens as soon as the silver lining wears off...Devil moves in and away we go. Know it is important to get a newly saved person in a group of other saved people...solid Christians...in any style of worship...contemporary or traditional.
Well, today I saw two things that raised red flags...JT is talking about moving again...he is very flighty...and he is reading things written by one of the questionable preacher men...preaching the feel good gospel...
Am asking for prayers for JT...
