Thank you. I hope it was ok for me to post this here. I just don't want my son to be pushed farther away. He has been making progress and slowly coming back to how he was raised and has even talked about getting back into church. Just praying my husband will use wisdom in how he approaches things with my son. I want them to be able to talk and not butt heads, and my husband not to guilt and manipulate him.

Anytime you have a praise or burden, Beth feel free to post it here. It's our blessing to be there for our brethren.
...pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16b)

I am sure you all have seen the situation that has been going on in Ferguson, Mo recently in the news. I can tell you Living west of St Louis County, it has been a really bad situation. I heard last week and then read again today that there are plans to "kill pigs" on New Year's Eve. Retaliation for Michael Brown and others who lost their lives due to "injustice" I can't say that this story is 100% true or not. However, I think we need to lift our Police Officers throughout the country up in prayer for their safety tonight. I pray daily for the Police, Firefighters and Emergency crews, but feel that tonight we should unite in prayer for their safety.
Hebrews 4:16 "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne room of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." The time of need is now,I believe I heard (correct me if I am wrong,) a static today, that said police officer deaths is up 55% in this past year.

Fella up in Bedford Va. has started something in Virginia that I think is a good idea...
he is putting a blue light bulb in his porch light to show support for Police everywhere...and it has caught on. I understand you can't find any blue lights anywhere in or around Lynchburg...
I plan to put blue lights on a little tree in my front yard and light them up tomorrow to show support too...
I think we all should. We all know that bad cops exist, but that they are way outnumbered by dedicated and professional men and women who put their lives on the line every time they leave their houses. Police are never really off duty...are they Keith?
I am praying for all of them.

Requesting prayer for my husband's cousins family. His wife's father passed away tonight. He was in Brookhaven, at West Plains. He had Parkinson's. His family is Pastors, Dion and Charla Prewett and his name was Junior Puckett. I don't know what his first name was, I only know him as Jr. Keith, you may know them. Dion has a construction business there in town. We just got home this evening from a week down there. We knew they had put him in the nursing home about 1 1/2 weeks ago, but did not know he was this bad. So, we will not be going back down. Thanks in advance for the prayers for his family. Godly man, so we know where he is tonight.
