Prayers for an Old Friend's Family

Got this PM from my old boss this morning. Keith, we talked about Nancy Carol the other day...

"Lost our dear friend, Nancy Carol Jones, yesterday. Hers was a life well lived in spite of her almost forty year battle with MS. She was kind, caring, and an example of how a Christian life should be lived. She dealt with adversity with such grace and was an inspiration to all who new her. Our hearts are heavy, but we know she is rejoicing in the presence of God. Please keep her husband, her two sons, and their families in your prayers."

Her husband's name is Ennis and he is a retired Deputy Sheriff and she had two sons...

No way to tell you what a great person Nancy Carol was...We all knew she had MS but she would never let us acknowledge it or help her...

We did tho...we would walk close to her and help her without drawing attention...she was amazing and such a good friend.

Thanks Keith...the old crowd of retired POs, Supervisors, and Office Manages have been gettin' in touch...and we are all sad.

We all thought a lot of Nancy Carol...

and it is a reminder that we are all getting older, like it or not.

Marilyn, I am sorry for the loss of your friend. I pray the Lord will comfort you and give strength and peace to her family. Loss of a loved one is always hard but especially so at the holidays.May the fond memories of her bring peace to everyone whose life she touched. Be blessed my friend.

Another sad day...old friend and Town Police Officer died and the funeral is today. Cancer.

And another friend died suddenly of a heart attack...funeral is the 20th.

Please pray for their families and all families who have lost a loved one this time of the year. So sad for them.

Especially bad at this time of the year. May the Lord see to their needs and concerns, in Jesus' Name, amen.

Prayers for all who have lost loved ones here at the Christmas season. Lord just bring peace and comfort into their hearts and homes, as well as strength to get through the Christmas season. Always hard to get into the festivities of the season when a loved one is missing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families.
