HI Friends, I can't sleep, so here I am once again asking for prayer partners On I got up the morning of June 13th and sat up on the side of the bed and blacked out. I took out a tower fan that was at the side of my bed.I don't remember anything except sitting up. From under my right jawbone all across my neck was swollen and bruised. I Immediately went into horrible muscle spasms. I am still having some spasms, and a lot of pain in my left shoulder. Never passed out in my life until then. I do have a heart arrhythmia, and I am on a high dose of medicine to keep it regulated, but it has been well controlled . This week I have had a couple of bouts of erratic heartbeats lasting maybe 5 minutes, and a little chest pressure. I did not see my doctor but we did talk and she wants to just keep an eye on it. My last stress test was normal and I bumped up my muscle relaxants and increased my pain meds and heat, which she said was all she would have done. I have had a lot of stress since the first of the year which could be contributing I suppose. It is a little unnerving since my dad died suddenly from a heart problem that he didn't know he had. I also have a small aneurysm in the right front part of my brain that we are watching because it is not yet big enough to require surgery. I need to go back to the neurologist have a repeat scan, as I am over a year past due. So, long story, but I want you to know what is going on so that you can be specific in your prayers. Truthfully, I am a little nervous & scared to go for this recheck of this aneurysm. I am trying just to rest in the Lord and not receive the fear that Satan is trying to put on me. If ya'll would just whisper a little prayer for me when you think of it I would appreciated it.
Also we have Gene's 100 y.o. grandpa in the hospital. He has Sepsis (a really bad infection in his blood stream) pneumonia and fluid building up in his lungs. He is VERY sick.
Thank you for your time and prsyers. God Bless ya'll

Father, please see to all of Bethany's needs and concerns, providing for her a positive result while easing her mind and heart in the process, in Jesus' Name, amen.
And Bethany, please try to lower your stress level as that can cause more problems than almost anything by bringing on a lot of those symptoms.

Grandpa has been put on hospice and was discharged to a nursing home. The doctors are saying it's only a matter of days, as he is eating very little and is getting weaker.Urinary output has drastically decresaed. He goes from periods of being pretty lucid to the next minute he doesn't know any of us. I pray he won't linger and continue to suffer,he knows Jesus and he is ready to go home. Please continue to hold our family up in prayer.

Hard to watch people we love slowly fade away...but as their light here wanes...I am convinced, it's glows brighter in Heaven...Will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Gene's grandpa passed away about 11:00pm. I know he is in a much better place and no longer suffering. Thank you for your prayers.
Also, pray for my mom's youngest brother he is 59 and had a stroke this past week while in Montana. He bounced back with no lasting issues but is supposed to keep his stress level down and take it easy. His wife's sister in California died this evening.

Here I am again, this prayer request is for our son in law and daughter, and his brother's 2 year old son. This is from Nathan's mom. Hey, I have a prayer request for next week. Nathan is going to Mayos in Rochester. He has (Neurofibromytosis, aka NF2) schwanomas (masses) in various places. First found years ago in his back. Surgery was successful. Now there one in his back again, and one on his auditory nerve. The one on the auditory nerve has grown large enough to be an issue. His balance is off & he has lost hearing that ear. IF they do surgery, nerve damage could give him a permanent sag/drool, and he could have complete hearing loss in both ears. If they use GAMA Knife(laser) it is so close to the brain that we may lose part of his personality. That treatment can only be done once in his lifetime. The doctor's have discussed Chemotherapy as a possible treatment. Pray for the right doctors, wisdom for the doctors and Nathan and Heather as well as the BEST treatment. The same week Grayson, Garon's son, 2, has an appointment with an eye specialist. A screening found a crescent in his eye. Could be a fluke or a serious issue. Thanks for being there. This is the kind of stress I have been dealing with since January. Trying to just rest in the Lord.

Thank you all for your prayers. Hopefully the second half of our year will slow down a bit. Needing rest and a quiet cabin in the woods would be nice, with no outside communication for a while. Just the sounds of nature and a babbling brook. Perhaps if I meditate on it long enough....Hmmm Seriously though I appreciate the unity of your prayers. Be blessed!

Just a couple of updates. My uncle who had the stroke has been getting a lot of testing done at Fort Leonard wood, so far so good. Our Kids (daughter and husband) just got back yesterday from Mayo Clinic. Had a lot of tests done MRI of brain and back, genetic testing hearing testing and a biopsy of a place on Nathan's leg. As well as a lot of other tests. (2 days worth), they go back on July 31st to discuss results and complete some other tests. Please continue to lift them up in prayer. In the middle of all of this, they are buying a house, (closing and packing) and selling theirs(doing repairs and painting) They are trying to complete everything before they start back to school in August. (They both are teachers) all good stuff. Thanks for your prayers.

So, the kids went back to Mayo yesterday for results of tests and to meet with the team of doctors. It seems they believe Nathan has NF3 a more recently found branch of the NF2, which is what he was diagnosed as having eventhough he was missing a couple of markers. They cannot give him a definately diagnosis without genetic testing, which insurance will not pay for, they say it is not necessary. It is $1500 out of pocket and it will tell them whether or not Gwen could also have this disease. Basically this is the summary of all the testing; biopsy on leg was negative. He does have new tumors, one in his neck and one in his head. Hearing has worsened, the headaches and pain he is having is from one of the tumors pressing on a nerve. Surgeon wanted to schedule him for Gamma knife surgery next Thursday. However, they are due to go back to school, Nathan is wanting to wait until next summer. Surgeon says, "too long, the sooner the better." Heather said Nathan is going to try to do it over their Christmas break. Please continue to lift them up in prayer. Specifically pray for wisdom, and for peace, as well as the doctors, to make the best choice in treatment for him, that will provide him with the best outcome, and least side effects. They are in sensory overload. We got them moved into the new house this past Friday evening and Saturday, of course they are not settled, boxes still everywhere. So I am sure that is weighing on their mind as well. We are praying that the Lord sends them the right buyer for their old place as well. Thanks for listening to this mama's heart and for being my prayer partners. God Bless.
