I want it to be perfect...It is my first prayer before the whole congregation now that I am back home at Beth Car, and I want it to be the best I can do!
Let Us Pray, The earth is Yours Lord, and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein...
We acknowledge that the world is your creation and belongs to You.
We gratefully acknowledge that we are Your people and the sheep of Your pasture and that it is You Who have made us and not we ourselves.
We acknowledge that all the cattle on 1000 hills are Yours...
We acknowledge that when we give offerings we are giving back to You what is rightfully Yours to be used for the work of the Church , and carrying on the Great Commission.
We remember what You said when You saw the widow give her 2 mites that day in the temple and we pray we can give with the same spirit as she gave and as the Bible admonishes us...to be cheerful givers.
Therefore, please bless our church, it's members, and our offerings both great and small ...to Your great glory, to the work of the church, to carrying out the Command to spread the Gospel, and in Jesus name...
and it is in His Name that we pray.
Amen.
Is it OK?

Beautiful prayer Marilyn.
While we are praying let's continue to pray for all of the people who are displaced and have lost everything in Texas and Louisiana. My heart aches for them. I know what it is like to lose all of your earthly possessions. We lost ours in a house fire. Things, however, can be replaced, lives cannot. Prayers for mercy, grace, provision and salvation.
Goodnight all.
