Dear friends I am asking for prayers
First, for a cousin who was diagnosed with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, he can breathe in oxygen, but can't breathe off carbon dioxide ) a year ago. This week he received a diagnosis of Squamous Cell Carcinoma, the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes already. He is 56 years old. Please lift him up in prayer. I promised not to give his name, God already knows him. He is a fairly new Christian but is strong in his faith. My heart is breaking as he and I have always been very close, as a nurse I know what he is facing without a miracle.
2nd.. Our daughter in love Marie' (little sister) Lily is 28 and was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer earlier this year. She had just finished nursing school and had been at her new job about a month when she was disgnosed. Lily has finished her Chemo and Monday morning is having a bilateral mastectomy and spacers placed for reconstructive surgery later on, once she has recovered. Please lift both of these up to the Lord in prayer.
