Dear sister Jetamine:
I hope you do not mind me reading your posts in the Daily Verse thread. I think about what you have gone through and what you continue to go through in Sodom/Gomorrah, and it gives me strength to face the trials of my life.
You see, (and this sounds so proud!) I have thought recently that I would take anyone else's problems instead of this IRS/felon/family illnesses any day. You have been going through something that I would not be able to tolerate. I think that this does not give you any peace to hear, but I want you to know that I have gotten a great deal of strength through your story.

Vet, reminds me of something my Grandfather used to say. "I cried because I had no shoes till I met a man who had no feet."
I don't quite understand what Jetamine is going thru but I do understand that it is quite a trial...Her courage in the face of the trial is a great inspiration to me also.
One of my favorite Bible passage is the following...it got me thru a very dark time in my life.
"This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD." Lamentations 3:21-26
