Thanks Drew...
I had to blow some steam. It usually doesn't do any good to debate with them...so I had to come and blow steam.

Thanks Drew... I had to blow some steam. It usually doesn't do any good to debate with them...so I had to come and blow steam. Full steam ahead (((((Sis))))))), cause we don't want to have da look-out say, "Thar she blows!!!!. Aye Matey!!... It is so aggravating to deal with those who wrestle scriptures to substantiate their own agenda. Shake the dust from the sandals Sis and come back "Home". We know the truth and like you referenced the Lord will return as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and He won't be coming as "gentle Jesus meek and mild".

Got a friend down in NC...a preacher man. I like to go read what he has written on Facebook each day. Always something good to cognitate on.
Today he wrote...
"I am not afraid to be different because of Jesus. I am afraid to be the same as I was without Him." Tim Bowes.

I remember Tim from way back...I am a retired Probation Officer. Tim is nothing like he was... Praise the Lord, neither am I. Here is what he posted today. “Plenty of church members are shaky about what they believe, while not many are shaken by what they believe.”

Here is how he responded...
"There are myriad reasons, as we all know, but those reasons are summed up in one: God calls and we struggle to respond. People come because God is doing "something" in them and we struggle to calm our distracted minds, still our distracted hearts, release our desires to be in control, deny our flesh, ignore the words of the enemy and somehow, amid all the cacophony of whirling disorder that is us, hear His still small voice calling from deep (His deep) unto deep (our deep places of the heart)."
Well said Tim! Amen.

"We love him, because he first loved us. " 1 John 4:19
Bible says so. Cool, isn't it...

Some more of Tim's wee words of wisdom...
"We were designed to be Spirit led, letting Him use an encyclopedia-like mind, a compassionate heart, hard-working hands, and an encouraging tongue with a heavenly wisdom. In our fast-food culture, we are mostly flesh-led, with pop-culture minds, selfish hearts, little-working hands, and a biting tongue with no wisdom. All of these tools, and their power to build or destroy, are differentiated by one thing, namely whether they are in God's control or our own."

"Most people reject Scriptures on this basis: "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." (1 John 2:15 ESV) -- Our sinful nature desires the benefit of God, so we say we love Him, but that same flesh does not desire the accountability of God. Without the Scriptures to define the faith, we pick and choose by a variety of standards, all of which allow us to shape the faith instead of God."
Tim Bowes
Think on that...

You should hear him preach!
Preached revival at our church and one night locked his notes and suit in his car. Preached that night, off the top of his head, in a pair of bermuda shorts...
Told him it was the best sermon I ever heard from a man wearin' a pair of bermuda shorts and that he should do it more often!
Ole fashioned country preacher like DB...Mike!

That's what I told many a probationer over the years. I told them, "when you take your last breath then it is too late. Till then you can change..."

You are not what you do. You are not what you like. You are not what you look like. You are not where you live. You are not a denomination. You are who God says you are. Who are you?
