Dusting and cleaning on this bright and beautiful day the Lord as made for us to work and play, love and hate, live and die. But most importantly it is another day to spread the Gospel message. When the Lord left us that day to go back to Heaven to take His seat on the Right Hand of the Almighty, He left us with a command. He told us to go tell...and then He put feet on the Gospel and those feet are ours. The Gospel to us is not a noun it is a Verb! and and the Ammo for our Gospel shotguns! So with that, Let Us Praise the Lord our God and Pass the AMMO! Amen! divintfor.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=75&page=24

Was reading the headlines of the news today and it all of a sudden occured to me, "this is what the prophets saw and it is hurling at us like a freight train."
Seems slow to us, but it is coming with lightening speed and increasing in speed everyday.
There are ever decreasing periods of lull and then it picks up speed again. It is very like the night we watched Katrina approach the Gulf Coast. It hovered off-shore that night, gathering in intensity as we watched, and then slammed into the coast like hell on wheels!
Watch, the Lord told Habakkuk...it is coming and when it starts it will be fast.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.Habakkuk 2:3

Good morning Marilyn! I like the way you've arranged the new cave...more room for sprawlin'. ;D I just got back from having cup of Mom's good coffee and a strawberry cookie. If Mike would've been around he could've come along. I heard he likes strawberries. By the way, Mom says hi. Yes, things are really hopping on the world scene. So many events involving economics, government and weather, not to mention the wars and rumors of wars. And all that with calls from every nation for a global system which they believe will cure all those ills. So much news, so little time. THE LORD'S COMING! How exciting is this!

Hi back to Mom! ;D
Strawberry cookies sound good...had toast with my coffee. Still got some strawberry suckin' jelly left from last summer. Wish I had thought of that this morning. Would have been good!
The news is so amazing, Keith. It sounds like it was lifted right off the pages of the Bible! Real jaw droppin' gum losing experiences!

I know! Nita and I have our evening shows we enjoy, but when those are over the TV goes right back on the news. And during the day when she's at work it's on constantly. My ears have morphed into a receiver for a Fox News Alert! ;D
And like you said, reading the headlines, like the ones on our news pages, are like reading the prophecies right out of the Bible.
Wow, just, well...WOW! ;D

It is all so jaw dropping that I find myself at a complete loss for words. But I am very happy to know that Jesus will rescue us all very soon!

Sunday Morning News
It’s almost like On a Sunday morn, The world stands up To take a breath Before plunging into The Monday storm.
So each Sunday morn I think, Deep from the Sabbath peace I’ll drink, while the Lord With His almighty hand Withholds judgment from this land.
Amen.

My grandaughter was asked why did God send the flood?
Because they were speaking Spanish.
Couldn't argue with that!

I was at a Rotary luncheon today, and the speaker was a successful businessman who mentioned the ease with which he was acquiring financial assistance ($400,000) these days. I can't get money that easily. I started to get jealous, but then thought how much more of a gift I have received from Jesus.
That really kicked those jealous thoughts right out of my head. My salvation is because Jesus gave His life, and it is worth far more than any monetary gift.

makes you think of those signs at sight seeing attractions that put a big "X" on a map and say "you are here" There I am...
It is good to know your location. Location, location, location is everything they say...
As long as my exact postion is with the Lord...then I know my location...SAVED!
I also know my destination..."To be absent from is body is to be present with the Lord."
I'm saved and I'm headed for Heaven!
Amen!
Hallejuah and doing the dance of unmeasurable joy!

“Christ is our Way; we walk in Him. - He is our Truth; we embrace Him. - He is our Life; we live in Him. - He is our Lord; we choose Him to rule over us. - He is our Master; we serve Him. - He is our Teacher, instructing us in the way of salvation. - He is our Prophet, pointing out the future. - He is our Priest, having atoned for us. - He is our Advocate, ever living to make intercession for us. - He is our Saviour, saving to the uttermost. - He is our Root; we grow from Him. - He is our Bread; we feed upon Him. - He is our Shepherd, leading us into green pastures. - He is the Water of Life; we slake our thirst from Him. - He is the fairest among ten thousand; we admire Him above all others. - He is ‘the brightness of the Father’s glory, and the express image of His person’; we strive to reflect His likeness. - He is the upholder of all things; we rest upon Him. - He is our wisdom; we are guided by Him. - He is our Righteousness; we cast all our imperfections upon Him. - He is our Sanctification; we draw all our power for holy life from Him. - He is our redemption, redeeming us from all iniquity. - He is our Healer, curing all our diseases. - He is our Friend, relieving us in all our necessities. - He is our Brother, cheering us in our difficulties.”
