For all concerned, Nita and I were blessed to contact sister Marilyn by phone at the hospital with assistance provided by brother Mike (DB). Thank you brother...
She sounded tired but good, said they'd run many tests and nothing 'bad' had surfaced other than the bronchitis. She's ready to go home, but is aware she needs much recovery time. We told her it's just an opportunity to spend more time with us in fellowship here! ;D
Thanks for all the updates Mike, and keep them coming...

To all..........
I just read from 2boxers, everything is about the same for now. God is merciful, progress has been made about a certain situation, but continue to pray as I know ya'll will. I will let you all know of any immediate changes as I hear.
Hopefully soon we'll see Duck posting in 'person' again...

Well here I am...little worse for ware but present and accounted for. Have to be on oxygen for a week or two and balked at that because it inhibits my freedom...but as I was thinking while lying down for a moment...I realized that my lungs took a beating and I need to do what the Dr. said and take it easy and stay on the O2 till he says it can go.
I smoked for years and my last was 04-06-08 at 12 noon...72 hours and counting...asking for prayers on that account. I had asked the Lord to help me stop...looks like He has...always think of my Grandfather and what he always said. Be careful of what you pray for...you just might get it...
I have been praying, reading my Bible, and reading Rosenberg's new book...finished that in short order and it was very good...
Thanks all for you prayers, calls and e-cards. I have enjoyed the contacts...and covet your prayers...please keep me in them...
Thanks again and all my love to all of you...very special brothers and sisters!
Love and God Bless you all, Duck Marilyn

Glad you're home and back with us dear sister! Yes, do as the doctor advises. Get plenty of rest and take your medicine like a good girl. ;D Nita and I quit smoking a little over a year ago. We both stopped cold turkey the same evening. Believe it or not, we don't have any scars to show for it! ;D The Lord was so good at getting us through it we had very few cravings for a smoke, and the one's we did have were very manageable, so we know quitting can be done without medicinal assistance. You'll be so much healthier without them Marilyn, and you'll feel so much better. I'd almost forgot how wonderful things smelled: Flowers, a cup of fresh coffee or even just clean air. You'll even be able to exert yourself without losing your breath! ;D You're going to love it. Anyway, I'm rambling, so again, welcome back...

So glad your back home and following the doctors orders. Seems sometimes we need setbacks to get us in line. I remember your daily routine seemed very full and hectic at times, so now you have been given time to slow down and rest., take advantage of this time as I know you will sister.
Keeping you lifted up in daily prayer.
Love, YSIC Diana

" O COME, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation."(PSALM 95:1)
So good to see you back Sister Duck, and praise the Lord for your commitment!!!! Remember what the Lord said..." My grace is sufficient.." Your choice to obey the voice of the Lord will result in more days to enjoy family, friends, and the keyboard...( well, for the fellowship anyway!!!). Glad you are back!
