Jhn 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

That the elect of God are secure and none will be lost. Amen! I feel very reassured knowing that no one/nothing will be able to prevent me from spending eternity with God. There is no such thing as "getting lost" between this life and eternity with God.

God bless you both so very much.
It is amazing to know that when we have received Christ, that He gives us a surety, the earnest of His Spirit, and we are safe in the Father's Hand and none can pluck us out.
John 6:39; 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
John 10:27-29; My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Philippians 1:6; 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
I Peter 1:3-5; 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
I John 2:19; 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Romans 11:29. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
2 Cor. 1: 21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. 23 Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. 24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
2 Cor. 5: 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
Eph. 1: 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
The Believer has the absolute irrevocable guarantee from God of eternal redemption through the very indwelling presence of God the Holy Spirit. It is our seal that we ARE His for eternity.

That the elect of God are secure and none will be lost. Amen brother Drew, and as the song goes, we are safe and secure from all alarms! Betty, here is a short article I penned over seven years ago about that very thing. Please read Falling Away[/url].
