Kim Jong Un Orders North Korea’s Military to Be Ready Now – Nuclear War Looms
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un declared that all levels of the military must prioritize war preparation and strive for its swift completion. His comments came during a speech on the final day of a conference in Pyongyang, marking North Korea’s first such gathering in a decade.
Kim emphasized that the moment the military achieves full war readiness, North Korea’s sovereignty and peace will be permanently secured. He reiterated that the most critical task for the nation’s armed forces is to prepare for conflict.
He also criticized the growing trilateral military alliance between South Korea, the U.S., and Japan, accusing the U.S. of rapidly establishing an “Asian NATO” by turning the South Korea-U.S. alliance into a complete nuclear partnership and enhancing military cooperation among the three countries. Kim pointed to the daily deployment of strategic military assets to South Korea and its surrounding areas.
