On Nov. 21, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
According to the court, the charges include "war crimes and crimes against humanity" committed between Oct. 8, 2023, and May 20, 2024. The ICC Pre-Trial Chamber found reasonable grounds to believe that Netanyahu and Gallant “intentionally deprived the civilian population in Gaza of essentials for survival, including food, water, medicine, medical supplies, fuel, and electricity.”
