There are quite a few teachers today that are teaching that the Rapture will come on the Feast of Trumpets and many Christians are lining up with it.This is some thoughts I have on it.
The feasts of Jehovah and the Church
To believe this teaching concerning the feast of Pentecost and the fall feast's of Israel and their relation to the Rapture of the Church really comes down to two points.1. Are the 7 feast's of Jehovah given by God to the nation of Israel and fulfilled by the Messiah, related to Israel or the Church and can they be divided up and some applied to Israel and some to the Church and 2.If some of the feast's,primarily Pentecost and Trumpets are applied to the Church, then that set's a specific time for the Rapture to occur thus setting a date for the coming of Christ and delaying His return until that specific date.If you believe the Rapture is imminent then there is a problem with this teaching. If you don't believe the Rapture is imminent then you could work this theory in to your belief system. One problem in believing this theory is the danger of working the other 5 feasts in to fulfilment in the Church thus eliminating Israel entirely which is what the amillennialism and postmillennialism have done resulting in the belief of replacement theology.I believe the Rapture of the Church is imminent and the 7 Feasts of Jehovah were given to Israel and will be fulfilled in their entirety concerning that nation with the Church and the nations reaping the benefits of them as a byproduct, grafted in.

Amen Bud. I've never believed the Rapture to follow the Feasts. The Feasts would nullify the imminency of it. Very good.

Very good. I like the idea of the Rapture occuring on the Feast of Trumpets, but that is date setting. Date setting is wrong.
