"and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." Gen.11:6
Is Babels tower nearing completion?
It's all the way into cyberspace. Language is no barrier. Distance knows no limitation. It's tentacles are far reaching. It's drawing influence is incredible. It's unification is tremendous. It's communications is almost instantaneous. It's information is almost limitless. It's need is almost a necessity. It's control is yet to be seen, but the WEB has been weaved.
Nimrod would be proud.

Interesting in that we have to have this technology for the rest of prophecy to come true. The Bible tells us that all will hear the Word before the end. Before the web that was difficult to imagine. Now it's simply fact.
But of course like everything else man will use this for the most perverted means. We can't ever leave well enough alone.

It's control is yet to be seen, but the WEB has been weaved. If not for the brethren, there would be no Truth on it at all. But that, too shall pass. "And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived." (Revelation 18:23)Bless your heart Bud.

Yes for certain it's being used by believers and some truth is intermingled and the technology will continue to grow, but it is amazing what a web it has become already. It's hard to imagine what it will become if Jesus doesn't come for quite a while. But I do believe we are seeing things develop from what we could refer to as the "Fruit of the Web",that would make "the people one."

Hubby and I joke about how lost people would be without their cell phones. But I think it is true. Most people would not know what to do without their phones.
I am just relieved to have some true peace and quiet without my cell phone.

For the parts of this technology that I have familiarized myself with and gotten comfortable with using,I am grateful. It has made many things easier and some things have been a blessing,as we share God's word with each other and when my son was in the army and overseas,we actually talked to each other through yahoo messenger, just like talking on a phone, and later we got a web cam and it was even greater. If my parents had had that when I was in the navy during the Viet Nam years, what a difference it would have been for them. But sometimes I ask the Lord, "are you sure I wasn't born a couple of generations to late."

Though Satan has a very powerful tool in his mission to capture the hearts and minds of people . . . I am glad that God's people are making great use of it as well, to posting mp3's of the preached Word on many good fundamental sites to even actually housing a very nice library of Christian books that would be somewhere gathering dust in a dark, damp closet.
