Greetings! What exciting times we are living in! Jesus is coming back any time now!
I copied this from RR cause I really liked it, and wanted y'all to see it.
Should I post a link ?
````````````````````````````
I'm not firm on this. It's just something that makes some sense to me and I thought
others might want to give it a test drive. It may break down as soon as you leave the
lot with it or it may have some good miles on it.
Speculation ahead.
Joel 1:1 through 2:20 seems to be an overview of the Gog led attack also found in Ezekiel 38-39.
Joel 1:15
The day of the Lord is at hand, but hasn't actually arrived yet.
Joel 1:18-19
"How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture;
yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate. O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured
the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field. The beasts of
the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the
pastures of the wilderness."
The beasts groan and the herds of cattle are confused.
Their pastures and the trees have been burned.
Ezekial 38:19-20 tells of God sending a great earthquake.
Ezekial 38:22 tells of God sending rain, fire, brimstone, etc., on the invading army.
Ezekial 39:4 has the invading army falling upon the mountains of Israel.
Interesting that the northeastern corner of the Golan Heights is an inactive chain of volcanic cones
where beef and dairy cattle are raised. Inactive volcanoes go active = earthquakes, fire, brimstone,
acid rain, hail, burned pastures and trees.
Joel 2:1
The day of the Lord is still at hand, but still hasn't actually arrived.
Joel 2:2-11
Further describes the Gog army, the invasion and the beginnings of God's wrath upon them.
Joel 2:17-19
"Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people . . ."
God begins to reveal Himself to Israel and the world through the events of the Gog war.
Cross reference with:
"Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known
in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD."
Ezekial 38:23
Joel 2:20
The destruction of the Gog army
Compare:
"But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and
desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his
stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things."
Joel 2:20
"And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel,
the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers:
and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog."
Ezekiel 39:11
Joel 2:21-27
Israel acknowledges that God has intervened and "hath dealt wonderously" with them.
As a result of the Gog war, the Antichrist confirms a peace agreement with Israel.
A time of peace, security and prosperity for Israel.
Temple rebuilt?
First half of the tribulation.
Joel 2:28-29
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams,
your young men shall see visions: and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids
in those days will I pour out my spirit."
"afterward . . ."
After what? After the events of the Gog war? After the Antichrist has confirmed the
peace agreement?
Prophecies, dreams and visions of the coming of Jesus as well as other people and events
leading up to that (activities of false prophet and Antichrist, etc.,.).
Joel 2:30-31
"And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible
day of the LORD come."
The Antichrist breaks the peace at mid trib.
Last three and a half years of trib.
Again, "before the great and the terrible day of the LORD."
Joe 2:32
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered:
for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant
whom the LORD shall call."
Israel realizes that Jesus is Lord.
See also Matthew 23:39:
"For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say,
Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord."
Joel 3:1-15
All nations come together in the valley of Armageddon.
The "final day" of the Day of the LORD.
The "great and the terrible day of the LORD."
Joel 3:16
Jesus defeats the AC and his army.
Joel 3:17-21
Millennium.
