It went down late yesterday evening and we went to Mom's. It works sporadically, so it's not dependable at all. The hottest days we've had are forecast for this week.I figured this was coming, just not so soon. I'm contacting our company in the mornng to put in a whole new system.
Please Lord, give us some relief and a speedy transition, in Jesus' Name, amen.

We ran to Walmart and got some blackout curtains for all the West side windows. Our HVAC company dropped off a loaner window air unit yesterday that's really helping. which will stay in place till the new system's in place. They'll be by shortly to measure for it.

Jeff, the owner of the company just left. We're getting a 3 ton, 2 speed Trane system (heat pump/exchanger), with a 12 year warranty that will be installed...WEDNESDAY! YAY! When he said day after tomorrow I almost fainted! Temps Thursday and Friday are forecast to be in the low 100's, so praise the Lord and pass the ice cream! ;D

Hee hee...flung a cravin' on ya'! ;D That one's my favorite flavor! Nita loves the double chocolate.
The crew will be here shortly to begin install on our new Trane system! Jeff, the businesses owner said it would be an all day job. Praise the Lord, the window unit's still keeping us very comfortable.
May the Lord lead them to a quick, safe and uneventful installation, in Jesus' Name, amen!

It's 95 degrees outside and I'm cool as a cucumber! The new system's in, turned on and running while they take readings and make adjustments. I'm going to have to take a college course to learn to use the new thermostat...but I think I'll figure it out. ;D

glad you are cooling your heels...
I am still trying to get someone to come service my AC...now have called 2 AC people...and neither one is returning my call...
I am getting very frustrated...

Sorry to hear that Marilyn. I'm fortunate to have a wonderful AC/Heating company. Here's the 3 ton heat pump I got. It's a Trane XL16i: The air exchanger unit under the house doesn't have a photo, but it's not that much to see. Thank the Lord for providing this...it's all His! |
