I want to thank the Lord for the men and women who have developed and advanced the internet. I just had the pleasure of talking with a cousin in Lynchburg, Va. and a cousin in Jacksonville Fla...via the internet. Discussions going back and forth in just a few seconds. Subject was a sad one...death of a close friend of our parents...and funeral plans.
but isn't it a marvel...the 3 of us so far from each other talking as if we are in the same room...
increase in information and much going to and fro...Bible tells us...sign of the end times...
But Lord, I am grateful to be able to stay in contact with people I love who live far away...

Amen, the Internet's a wonderful thing for those of us who can no longer travel. It has become our mission field! Thank You Lord!

Amen! It is indeed the final frontier . . . final frontier sounds like Star Trek... last frontier...missions field... Got another prayer of thanks to the Lord. Son Reece is now in Georgia in school working on getting his federal license as a crane operator...By 2014 to get a job operating cranes you will have to have federal certification... Son is between jobs so decided now would be a good time to go get that license.. Thankful that opportunity came his way...Son has to feed, house, cloth, and educate J. Patrick Moose. ;D

Truly grateful that he is able to move forward. Very smart on his part because this shows anyone that might look at his resume that he is remaining pro-active. I'm still praying for all of ya'll. God never gives us more than we can take, even when we ourselves don't know it.

Got another call from son Reece...he thought he would coast thru. I told him to be sure to take his glasses and some mid-night oil. As usual Mom was right...he is studying his behind off...
It's good for him...keeps him on his toes...but he still needs prayers. It has been years since he was last in school.
;D

Going back to school is never easy, good for him that he is not afraid to try. Of course considering who his mama is, I'm not surprised. I'm keeping all of you in my prayers.

hee hee...no frat parties for the weary. He decided not to come back to Va. on the weekends...just stay in Ga...since it is such a long drive. He was worried about what he would do all weekend...
Now he knows. He is gonna be doing lots of studying.
Thanks Sylvia for the compliment...I am proud of my son...who at 45 went back to school.
