A note from Karen, our fire chief's wife, on an injury to one of our volunteer firefighters.
"David N. got hurt at work Friday. He was helping to repair a bridge for the Morris County Road Dept. & a bridge I beam came unhooked and fell on him. It broke both collar bones, 3 ribs (front & back) and an ankle. He was in the Trauma Care Unit at Stormont Vail in Topeka. I'm not sure how long he will be there. Rich talked to Dale tonight and he said he may get to come back here to Morris Co. Hosp. in another 3 or 4 days. It will be a long road of recovery. Please keep him in your prayers."
