This Aging ThingBy Arley Steinhour 071913 I have a lot of things to do, But, can't remember a single one, That means I must be through, And all my work, is done. I think I am going to like, This aging thing in life, Living simple, riding a bike, Free of earning a living, strife. Another thing, is meals on wheels Made with the best little money can buy, Served, piping warm, so, if anyone feels, Food burned them, you'll know they lie. Young folk, how I love their place, Some open doors, some ruin the day, Each and every one, with a smile on face, Two even said, for their food I should pay. Discounts galore, if we have the rest, Pay day don't go very far, We don't complain, just do our best, Living frugal, to save a penny, in a jar. Three or four, ago, was still in my youth, That's how time pasted, it seems, Worked hard, for living, and had every tooth, With five children, and life living my dreams. So, when you see this old man on the street, And, you've a wonder from whence he came, I can tell you stories, you'll think are neat, Memory's perfect, if you don't ask my name. AMEN (am I done yet?) Each morning Lord, I rise with the Sun, And when wake-up prayers are through, I'm ready to do what is such fun, Write a Praise, or Poem, to YOU. Unto RedemptionBy Arley Steinhour 072013 Gawking, Walking, and Talking, Without much thought, in the head, Is a perfect time for Satanic stalking, To the Dark Side, one might become wed. Today, We the People, professing wisdom, Walk about, in a purple haze, Believing we're building a solid kingdom, May well, soon, set the world ablaze. Great signs, of our deep insanity, With the stringing, of who we be, Much like, choreographed calamity, Besieges this Land of the Free. So much we change from right to wrong, And worse, Sound Reciprocity, Destroys the tenor, of Freedom's Song, And, shreds away, Patriotic Tenacity. In Government, Schools, and now the Home, We can't utter, or sign God's Name, Lest, we insult any, who's mouth might foam, When, we dare play the Freedom Game. There is an answer, to all diatribe, As it calls you home from the wilderness, Repent, and study God's Word, certified, Unto Redemption, and Perfect Forgiveness. AMEN Dear, Lord, there's still many who know, That you will 'Return,' very soon, To close this Era, and change Sanity's flow, Blessing, 'Yours,' and rejecting the 'Loon.' KNOCK KNOCKBy Arley Steinhour 072113 You knock, and knock, we say, 'who's there,' Sadly, few of mankind gives a care; How many, to date, have told you to wait, And reject your knock, until too late? This time, feels like an oncoming storm, Summer heat's no comfort in being warm, Wrapped in the arms of our King of Salvation, Agape Love has room for every Nation. We keep the Watch, you'll be here soon, Be it middle of night, or at High Noon, When you come, to snatch your bride away, Those with 'oil in lamp,' you'll see, bright as day. We'll travel Home, in Angelic style, Non-Watchers won't have time to smile, The Wedding Feast, That's ready for us, Hears no complaints, and no one can cuss. The signs of the times, say we be near, The End of Church Era, that brings Great Cheer, For the Seven years, of Tribulation Fame, The 'Left Behind,' won't think it a game. Bad news, when complete, many are dead, Still, cursing God, they can't clear their head, Tribulation Saints, who survive conflagrations, Will be less than a quarter, from all the Nations. Earth sounds so quiet, stillness rings like a bell, Clearing way for the Kingdom, Cursed are in Hell, 'All Mortals, still breathing, repopulate the World,' Satan, locked away, Eden's Beauty, unfurled. One Thousand Years, Jesus will Rule, One Rod of Iron, His only Tool, Covenants, changed, to Honor Bound life, The Good and the Bad, live without strife. After the Thousand, is Satan released, Recruiting 'disgruntled,' to be part of the Beast, Before they can strike, God utters a 'Word,' Then It's all over, 'White Throne Judgment,' is heard. Most, are accepted, based on 'Works,' well done, If name not in Life Book, Second Death has won, Down comes New Jerusalem, a Great Sight, to see, Full of beautiful rooms, for God, Son, and Family. AMEN In the sky, a glorious sight, Eternal Home, is what it be, Streets of Gold, no dark of night Lit by God, the Son, and 'we,' make three. BEFORE the SUNBy Arley Steinhour 072213 Before the Sun, lit up the sky, I awoke to see some clouds go by, Lightning dancing, most everywhere, To make a show, for you to share. Rain fell from clouds, soaking all about, If, full-awake, I'd have given a shout, But, as it was, I laid there and grinned, Giving you Praise, for the heat you had thinned. You knew that my Praise was only for you, Some hail stones tapped on roof, to shew, You speak, not in words, we understand, Oft, tinkle of bell, you've shaken by hand. I drifted asleep, with smile still on my lip, Thanking you softly, for your Royal trip, As in, once in a while, you leave your throne, To chat with your Faithful, who love you, alone. If, all of mankind, could find deep love for you, We'd live in harmony, not strife, as we do, Apart, one from the other, by manmade fence, From Adams first Sin, then life, ever-since. Soon, comes the day, Your Grace brings about, Dawning of Kingdom, with Satan thrown out, The Thousand year time, man must prove his Love, To Stand on its own, like Yours from Above. AMEN With every step, light dances before you, There's little we mortals can do, As your brilliance lights up the sky, But, Praise You, till we're called to fly. OUT of HANDBy Arley Steinhour 072513 At last, I think I understand, These times, that we're alive, Society is now, out of hand, With little chance, that we survive. God tells us to respect the law, Not fight against the leaders, But, standing by, sticks in the craw, Doing nothing, but cracking fingers. We know that if we don't defend, Many throats will suffer death, Who lives, or dies, does depend, On 'conversion,' for another breath. We of Faith, 'See' where we're going, Those not, only suffering demise, Before the bloom of Satan's Sewing, 'Mark,' placed on hand or above the eyes. God, sure don't need defending, He can handle any attack, People think that's good, depending, On God's true word, covering the back. Bible indicates, 'we're out of time, All choices now, need be made, Leadership of choice, God, or Slime, Before the Judgment 'card' is played. Please, one and all, get right with God, There is little time to play this 'game,' Miss making the choice, bear the Rod, And, may never wear Jesus' Name. AMEN Too old and fat, to fight the fight, I can't tell you how to decide, God is Light of Day, Satan dark of night, Make your choice, eye's opened wide. Without WarningBy Arley Steinhour 072513 Oh, my bag's ain't packed, Won't need them to go, My Faith is stacked, Let's get on with the show. I have an urge to lift and fly, With my brand-new Robe and sandals, As those we leave behind, must cry, My mortal stuff I leave to vandals. We're Heaven bound, up to the King, Our Mansions are now complete, Our Faith in Him, is our everything, Eternity is where, He sets our feet. All unsaved, must hear my plea, Even if you refuse to want to, Hell is not what you want to see, Heaven's available up in the Blue. Dink around, and you lose the race, Bad people, then, will hound you, Repent your Sin, to have Heavenly Space, Your FREE Salvation, then granted, TRUE. Once we're gone, to God on High, Seven years of Hell begins, Many unsaved, surely die, Don't be crippled by your Sins. The time to go, we don't know, But, the Bridegroom will come 'Snatching,' When the Father, says 'Time to Go,' Without warning, the Gate's unlatching. AMEN Imagine lifting off the ground, Seeing nothing more than sky, Voice and Trumpet, the only sound, As Bridegroom teaches the Bride to Fly. Wedding Day SpecialBy Arley Steinhour 072713 (Dedicated to Tony and Elizabeth) Sitting here, at dawn of day, The cleansing rain has passed away, The air is fresh, and has sweet smell, There is today, no tinge of Hell. So far, the light is dawning bright, As minutes pass, new beams of light, The Sun will crop horizon, soon, To put to sleep the stars, and moon. Overcast, makes sky hard to see, So only know what's close to me, Replete with blessings, in this life, Sheltered from all earthly strife. Grandson, Tony, will tie the knot, today, Now, Love of Elizabeth holds sway, May they enjoy full life, complete, Becoming One, but never 'meet.' Always working toward that goal, As life circles the marriage pole, Two in one, as two can be, May that 'ONE,' someday be three. So, on this Special, Wedding day, No expectation, just 'Giving away,' Agape Love, with Eternal Bloom, 'Please only the other, no Self-filled-room.' AMEN Paternal Blessing freely given Happiness, that is not striven, Prevailing Focus, unto the Spouse, Exudes Agape, that fills the House. In Your EarBy Arley Steinhour 073013 The coolness in the morning air, Deters the heart from earthly care, In life, there's seldom time to play, To God, there's always time to pray. What more is there, any can say, But, 'Man not woman is made of clay,' The woman is from the Adam's rib, She will always be, her man's 'Jib.' His helpmeet in this mortal world, And he to her, a flag unfurled, Woman supplies the moving force, So man can steer prevailing course. Love, and support, of the family, Starts before the two should Marry Eternal oneness, His never-ending plan, More to learn, than a mortal can. 'In your ear,' must our words ring, 'Praising God,' so hearts take wing, 'By Repenting,' our Sin is Gone, 'Through His Grace;' we then belong. AMEN Hunker in the saddle, Folks up creek, without paddle, Open Bible, take a ride, They need God's Word, bonafide. Archive & pic. at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/54161/

The JudgesBy Arley Steinhour 073113 As our Eastern brothers and sisters, die, Murdered by those, who live for a Lie, We need remember God's promise to all, Be patient, until number is right to call. We of Messiah, are, some, martyred Home, Close to Jesus' side, no more to roam, Being killed, in His Name, we Graduate, Killers are wrong, but find out too late. Soon, our God will stand, red of face, To stop the horror, that's taking place, Sheep to His Right, Goats to the Left, Sheep, to God's Light; Goat, Torment bereft. The martyred, we need to celebrate, As they, will dine at Jesus' plate, Free from all worry, never a pain, Millennial Judges, in Truth they'll Reign. So, Sound your trumpet, to all who will hear, Witness, on Jesus, Choral good cheer, Salvation, through Grace, may soon be gone, Then, only by 'Works,' can one tag along. AMEN Of all, God made, in the Universe, Here, made man, to Bless, or Curse, As we chose our course, through Eternity, Torment with Satan, or in Jesus, Sublimity. Well, I'm back, with my new 'Timex' ignition in my heart, and I think it is going to 'tick' just fine, even if it can't/won't put me back into Sinus Rhythm. Oh, Well, I guess I need get used to a heart that likes to dance around, in my Thorax, and keep it's own rhythm, and dance-step, until the Boss comes with his medical bag, and makes me all gooder again. Ha. I think I'll start out with a Sabbath praise, to restart my blathering. Ha: Joy of SabbathBy Arley Steinhour 080213 Every day a Sabbath, At least, deep in my heart, Washing clean in Spirit bath, To better learn my Holy part; The part I have in mortal life, To do, as you would have me, Be it adventure, and earthly strife, Prepares me for Eternity. Soon, you come to Snatch away, Bride/Church, from Tribulation, Holy Spirit, then, has no sway, For the Seven years duration. We must keep our candle trim, With pure oil in the bowl, To light the pathway, to us, for Him, Who Paid the Wedding Toll. Bless us on this Sabbath day, Please, fill our hearts with Joy, As we study life, a Godly way, Getting ready, for your only Boy. AMEN Bride's heart must be like the lamp, So all the world may marvel, Burning brightly, in Redemption's clamp, So, when He comes, the Angels Revel Archive & pic. at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/54225/

Thanks, Keith, just one more thing for those 'Left Behind' to find in my chair, or somewhere. Ha. Though it don't put me back into Sinus Rhythm, I am feeling better, now that I can walk farther than the front door. Ha. Soon, brother, Soon. Matter of fact, I address the current days, with what I heard Ravi Zacharias witness on today's Bott Radio program; God has healed Ravi's spine, L-3, 4, & 5. Mine are bad, but Ravi's was outrageously bad. 'All gooder now,' but I paraphrase Ravi. OK, today's offering: Ode for RaviBy Arley Steinhour 080413 Hallelujah, Dear Father God, Praise to your Holy Name, In one, no more a need for 'Rod,' Healing one, of Teaching fame. A man, who loves, with all his heart, The Word, Your Son, Messiah, You've healed the spine, at least, in part, Of Your Servant, Ravi Zacharias. May, soon, the Surgeon, take away, The steel rods, from his spine, Because you've healed your normal way, In total, so pain no longer shines. Soon, I pray, we all be healed, Of our every malady, With 'Second Death,' for us, repealed, We'll make a perfect Family. Until that time, may Faithful Serve, To Witness to the Lost, Even though they kill with verve, To us, Death has no cost. AMEN With great pain, of physicality, Ravi staid his faithful rounds, God said, 'No more Spine Calamity,' He now walks on 'Pain-Free' grounds. Hallelujah!! Back to a PennyBy Arley Steinhour 080513 When I was young, long years ago, We had special words, we'd say, "If I had a penny, I could show, How to live, in elder day." We paraphrased, to meet the needs, Of something, good or bad, But seldom used on 'Good deeds,' Because, the impact would be Sad. We seemed to use that saying, On our 'painful' happenstance, So, some good came from braying, About unacceptable circumstance. One day I suffered quite a Pickle, None said 'penny,' anymore, Just reward must be a 'Nickel,' Pennies, not good, at the store. Prices up, to half a dime, For Candy, or a Coke, Losing ground on party-time, Deposit on four bottles, not a joke. Beyond a nickel, we just knew, Would be another Hundred years, Before another five were through, Plastics, brought more childhood tears. No income, from a bottle reposit, Children's bankroll dried to naught, Candy and Coke, as if locked in a closet, Without 'nickels' couldn't be bought. Since that time, there's been adjustment, We no longer, 'Save-up, to buy,' We listen to Credit Card, advertisement, And purchase before the price is too high. I wonder, what would transpire, If we changed our way of life, Back to a Penny, for daily hire, With only five needed, to avoid life's strife?? Amen A child, looks forward to aging, The Aging, looks for their teeth, The child needs no persuading, To grow into what is beneath. Archive & pic. at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/54245/

Redemptions PlaceBy Arley Steinhour 080613 Since, Tribulation soon begins, Obvious with the prevailing Sins, The world is chomping at the bit, Soon, we'll have seen the last of it. Judgment is coming, for seven years, To change man's heart, with many tears, Your last call, brings sadness and joy, Sadness, in wrath, or, Joy in God's Boy. Some folk, today, say 'We stay, Too corrupt, to be taken away, Only, through pain and Great Tribulation, Can man qualify as God's, Holy Nation.' I wonder, where Salvation has gone, 'Once Saved, Always Saved,' say's Redemption song, Redemption's place, 'Above the Law,' where it goes, Above, and ahead, the 'Law' tickles our toes. As part of Jesus, we crave doing good, Anything less, is stacked, rotten wood, Any Redeemed, who do as they please, Saves paper, and straw, that blows in the breeze. At Bema Alter, the dross, burns to ash, Gold, Silver, and Gems, placed on our sash, Our Crowns are made of the best of best, Dross burned, 'Acts and thoughts' un-confessed. So, the Law don't hang just over the head, Like a sword, on a string, to kill people dead, Born Again, means, with Jesus we've died, With Spirit, Resurrected, eyes opened wide. God's Holy Spirit, then, resides in our heart, Teaching and guiding, to help do our part, We learn and mature, in God's Holy Way, To be ready for Bridegroom, coming to Stay. AMEN All Sin hangs on Cross of One, The one of three, that holds God's Son, Redeemed, we also, with Him, Died, Our Sins have all been Crucified. Book of LifeBy Arley Steinhour 080713 Without you in our heart, Dear Lord, We must count on Death, times Two. The only way, 'Death Two,' we Ford, Is Grace, with Faith on the Son of You. Many pass through, their mortality, Never hearing a word on your Name, Nor, the Laws, of Constabularity, In uniformity with your Godly Fame. From Your Good Book, in perfect clarity, 'By Grace, we're Saved, through Your Son,' But, what of those, in need of great-charity, Without knowing the Grace-Path 'Only-One.' Perhaps, they lived, in a beastly way, Or life's existence, amongst the trees; Perhaps, they killed people, as Social play, Or, to a False god, spent life on their knees. Life lived, without knowledge of your Law, Somehow, living that life quite Pearly, With an Higher calling, above life's Maw, To know you, they died too early. Tradition says, 'They go to the lake,' Yet, your Word, may say otherwise, For, Revelation, Twenty, fifteen, sake: 'Be in Book of Life, or the Lake applies.' We wish to clear our understanding, If, that knowledge be your Will, Our urgent need, for comprehending, Could remove, for some, a bitter Pill. Most all stand in full agreement, 'Those who've heard, and stepped aside, 'Knowing of Jesus,' places 'New Covenant,' As the 'Only Way,' Applied.' Soon, you come, to Snatch away, The last of the Church, and Bride, Then focus Millennial, Kingdom, Day, Promise to Abraham, fulfilled, with Pride. AMEN Is your name written in the Book of Life, Sworn to be Jesus' Eternal Wife, With Absolute Joy, without War or Strife; Or, Opt for Lake of fire, with Torment Strife? D U H ?? Samaritan ThanksBy Arley Steinhour 080713 Stranded on the highway, Can ruin the best of days, Today, I use poetic sway, To give a young man praise. Stranded, be a friend of mine, With destroyed tire, quite flat, Near Five O'clock, quitting time, He called and told me that. Thirty miles from big city, Small town two miles away, Ag Valley might take pity, If I promised that I'd pay. I called, and spoke to Dan in back, Of the problem that we had, They didn't have a tire, on rack, That was used, and wasn't bad. But, Yoiks away, and Hi - Ho, Danny thought he had a friend, Who had a tire, that would go, On rim, to send mine around the bend. Long story short, 'a happy ending,' Danny found them and tire replaced, On a promise of payment, pending, Good Samaritans, are not displaced. Please bless Ag Valley COOP, Outfit Doing business, Old Fashioned way, Helping, more important than profit, 'Community' can still hold Sway. AMEN Picture, if you will, please, Full Service at the Pump, You'd smile at all the passing trees, Air in tires, windshield clean, and tank filled up. That's the kind my friends got. Empty SailBy Arley Steinhour 080813 We're running out of wind Lord, With no air in our empty sail, Dead in water, as a board, Blowing, like a netted whale. Soon, to the bottom, we will sound, As this country dies, like people do, With eight of ten, no longer found, Non-believers lips may just turn Blue. The time is ripe for you to come To snatch away your Bride Most will have their candles lit. But some may try to hide, They'll realize they've lingered, Or, wandered, perhaps, too far, No longer feel they're 'qualified,' To be the Bride of who you are. They do not know, or understand, Your Love Forgave, at 'sip of wine,' In Salvation, we forever Stand, Bride Price, paid at Cross, Sublime. Lord, we Watch, with Faith in you, Your arrival time, somewhat vague, We know you're coming, that is true, And, when it comes, no time to beg. AMEN One and all, I plead with you, Repent, as Travail is 'Curtain Call,' Strong and painful, till it's through, Those Left Behind, will bear it all. Nevermore EnslavedBy Arley Steinhour 081013 My heart feels like an apple pie, But, not the kind that's apple of eye, So many slices, for different ways, One, asking, searching, or giving Praise. The Signs of the Time, of great concern, To not be involved, this one does yearn, Events of the day, were Prophesied, And, so far, not a one has lied. We flit about, like bees to the hive, Ride in cars that 'think,' almost alive, We fly the world in less than a day, Zip to the Moon, for Scientific play. There was a time, so long ago, A Tower of Babel, stole the show, You said then, 'they're on their way, To do all their pleasure, some day.' You confused the language, To give mankind more time, To understand 'Faith,' and to salvage, That, which You direct as Divine. Instead, we worship Technology, Calling it ours, in the Land of the 'Free,' Ignoring the 'Word,' plus your Prophecy, Denying the need of your generosity. Those who chose 'Faithful,' and be Reborn, Soon hear the thunder of Your Silver horn, Angelic Voice rumbles: 'Come up to me,' Snatching, the Last of your 'Church,' to be FREE. Some folk may grumble, 'he's said this before,' Correct, but meant to open another door, The door of the heart, of a person, 'unsaved,' To snatch from their Sin, Nevermore 'Enslaved.' AMEN Computer, is much handier, Than stylus and parchment paper, As 'Word Dancer,' or as 'Bandier,' I Pick heart-locks as my Caper. Yeee-Haaa AMEN Archive & pic. at: www.mccookgazette.com/blogs/1580/entry/54323/

Unique We BeBy Arley Steinhour 081113 Soon, there comes a Golden day, Won't need a hose, in my face, Breaths, I'll take, the deep, slow, way When I work, play, or race. My waist will lose an instant mile, My joints will sing with joy, My teeth will all be in my smile, Nothing to purchase, simply enjoy. Heart will beat, like marching displays, Without the Fandango, it's dancing now, I'll have instant memory, that stays, And, be in love with every place I plow. The people that I meet, I'll know, Having smiles that makes heart glow, Hate, Pain, and Strife, all left below, Thanks to He, that makes things Go. Unique we be, to God, you and me, Being perfect, in body and health, Fulfilling assignments, in harmony, As the Bridegroom provides our wealth. So, if you need to make the Choice, Between Jesus, and life of Sin, For Jesus, sound your heart, and voice, The other choice can't win. AMEN In Days of Noah, God's 'Die was cast,' Water covered, Sin, Land, and Mountain, Outside the Arc, no life could last, Forty days, the world a fountain.
