The ambulance took Mom to ER a while ago with chest pains. The heart doctor is with her now and says she has a blockage. They're getting ready to do an angiogram. Hope to know more shortly. Appreciate any prayers.

She's out and she's going to be fine! She had a mild heart attack with one slightly blocked artery. The doctor opened it with a balloon and put in a catheter. There was no damage to the heart muscle whatsoever. The doctor said she's a very strong woman. They're going to keep her a couple of days for observation then send her home!
Thank the Lord for his grace and mercy.

Thanks so much to you both. She sounded great on the phone, and the nursing staff says she's doing remarkable and might get to go home tomorrow!

Mom had a restful night and was doing great until this morning. She's now very fatigued and nauseated. They're not sure of the cause but said it could be a reaction to some of the medication.

Talked to Mom on the phone and she's feeling so much better! She sounded more like her old self since they changed up some of her new medications which were causing the fatigue and nausea. I expect Dr. will keep her another day or two just to make sure everything is lined out okay.

Keith,What is the news today on Doreen? I went by and visited with her Wednesday when I got into town. We had a very nice visit. It was so good to see her. Hard to believe I hadn't seen her in probably 30 years. Time gets away from us so quickly. I Love her very much. I am still praying she will feel like going home soon.

Mom's feeling really good but can't keep down solid food. Dr. said he doesn't want to let her go till she can.

She kept down her lunch and her supper this evening, so if Dr. keeps his word she'll get to go home sometime in the morning!  |

Please keep our pastor in your prayers . He went to the ER yesterday with chest pain and they ran all kinds of tests that came back negative. Today, the ran and upper endoscopy (camera down his throat) to look at the GI system. That also was clear. They had ran cardiac enzyme blood tests and two sets were negative. Repeated it this morning and third set cam<span style="font-size:10pt;">e back elevated. So, sometime over the last 24 hours he had a heart attack . He had a cardiac catheterization and had one artery that was 100% blocked so they did a balloon procedureand put a stint in the artery.
