I think I saw a Bigfoot run by the window. Wait, that's my super tall nephew! Opps...... Sorry for the goofy attitude, but I had too.

The goofy is now out of my system. So now I will say that God is very good to me; my business is doing better, when around me the business world looks bleak. Hubby and I have our health, and we can enjoy each day.
[glow=red,1,300](Psalms 118:24) This is the day which Jehovah has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.[/glow]

Saw something today that touched me so. If you were looking for a definition of true love I think what I saw would be a beautiful example.
The old man was dressed like a dandy and I noticed him pushing a shopping cart. He was so old that he had that translucent appearence. In his time he must have been quite the looker. He carefully pushed his cart up and down the isles selecting something here and something there and putting it in his cart.
Later I saw his companion. She was dressed in an ordinary house dress...she also was older and had that same other worldy translusence. Both of them had beautiful snow white hair. The man had finished their shopping and apparently gone to get the woman who was waiting on a bench near the front of the store.
They shuffled along pushing the shopping cart together all 4 hands lined up on the handle of the cart, a practiced act...done many times, comfortable.
It was obvious there were many years between them of time that had made them well known to each other as lovers, friends and constant companions...it was a beautiful thing to see.
I was very sure what she saw was her young husband...a well dressed dandy. I was equally sure that what he saw was his young and beautiful bride...
Every once and a while the Lord blesses us with beautiful sunsets...and that is what I saw.

I saw that as plainly as if I'd been looking out my window Marilyn, thanks, that was beautiful.

"...and they shall be one flesh." Genesis 2:24
It is what I pray for my children, should they live that long. I pray they will look like that beautiful old couple...

Hubby and I are beginning to see our friends giving in to evil temptations. Stealing, lying, fornication, abuse, neglect, gambling, pornography; I am certain that more people are concealing evil from other people's sight.
[glow=red,1,300](2 Timothy 3:1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
(2 Timothy 3:2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
(2 Timothy 3:3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
(2 Timothy 3:4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
(2 Timothy 3:5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
(2 Timothy 3:6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
(2 Timothy 3:7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.[/glow] When I first read these verses years ago, I thought that I would not want to be around when this started to happen. Then I didn't think that I would live to see verses 5-7 come into being. Now I see and understand.
If we are God's children, we have His protection. So I am not afraid for my soul, but I am afraid for other people who do not have God's protection during these times (and the times to come).
Our society is on a rapid downward spiral. You can see this all around. Think about what you see on television today compared to 5 years ago. Things have changed, haven't they? There is one Person who never changes; He will hold your soul safe if you become His child. I am talking about God.
I am a doctor. But God is for everyone, whether you have several degrees, or have no education. I wish that everyone would believe in Jesus and escape the terrible times that have come. We are promised that this life is the worst that we will have for all of eternity if we believe in Jesus. If you do not believe in Jesus, then this life is the best you will have for all eternity. Believe in Jesus, go to Heaven. Do not believe in Jesus, and you will go to Hell. Hell is a real place, a terrible place; Heaven is wonderful.
Things will only get much, much worse. Accept Jesus, God's only Son, as your Savior today.
This cave is a good place to meet God. Right now, as you read this, is the best time to believe in Jesus and be saved.

Amen...Donna.
love what Billy Sunday said...
Hell is hot, and Heaven sweet. Sin is black, and Jesus saves!
It's that simple...

I have to add addiction to the list above.
It is such a very sad thing thing to see someone waste their life.

Haven't been to the cave for awhile...always have liked it in the cave...
Usually, I come here to write out problems figuring if I can put things into words I can identify the problem. Puts me one step closer to finding a solution.
Read in last weeks SS lesson that the Holy Spirit can read our hearts and translate what's there into words to relay to the Lord...
So in the final analysis doesn't matter that much that I can't put feeling and thoughts into words in prayer...the Holy Spirit can.
Amen?

Thought you might like to see the verses I am thinking of...
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uAnd he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God. " Romans 8:26-27
