I'm trying to think of which board that could be Virgil as I may be banned from there too. You can PM and let me know. Loved the granddaughter story...from the mouth's of babes.
Marilyn, bless your heart. What a grand time we're going to have in the Kingdom! All of us fellowshipping with each other...IN PERSON! And being with Jesus...IN PERSON! Can hardly wait, but as Virgil's granddaughter said, not just yet.
I haven't heart from Bill in a long time and only see him around here rarely. Don't know why. He used to come to this area occaisionally and he'd give me a call to get together. The last time I was having an MS flare-up and couldn't go. I wish he'd check in more often.

I forgot to mention how much we enjoyed church yesterday! Had a guest Pastor, Lynn Bond as ours was on a plane returning from a mission trip to India, which by the way resulted in over 300 new brethren!
Brother Lynn began by covering Matthew 24 and the lateness of time. He covered many of the events taking place in the world today including a strong 3.2 quake near their home a few weeks ago. He then moved on to Luke 20:1 and preached that the Rapture will occur "on one of those days" and how we need to preach the Gospel as Jesus did "on one of those days."
Awesome End Times messsge!

I see where Bill looks in but that is not the same as saying something once and a while... Our Preacher, who is retiring as of August 31st, fired another shotgun blast on Sunday. Preached on Lev. 17:11, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. "I don't think I blinked while he was preachin'...was afraid it would make too much noise and I would miss something. Excellent sermon!

Isn't it funny how so many of us go away for a while. I know we all have our dark times and dark places. But we always know that when we show up here there will be our brothers and sisters waiting with open arms.
Marilyn is who hunted me down after so long. I'm forever grateful for her friendship and her love. And we don't always have to agree but we disagree with love and respect.
And I loved the granddaughter story. How wonderful are kids? The best part of all of us.

Our children..."the best part of all of us..."
That is so true. My kids are the best thing I ever did and my grandchildren are the best of the best!
None of us have ever really met in person. I see Kicker, Dale often and DB...Mike over on Polecat Creek but have never met the rest of you all personally. It is amazing tho, how close we all are...we really are like brothers and sisters!

Better watch out or you could get your Southern Gentlemen title revoked!
THE SOUTHERN TEN COMMANDMENTS This is much easier to remember !!! (1)Just one God. (2) Put nothin' before God. (3) Watch yer mouth.... (4) Git yourself to Sunday meetin'. (5) Honor yer Ma & Pa. (6) No killin'. (7) No foolin' around with another feller's gal (or 'nother gal's feller). (8) Don't take what ain't yorn. (9 )No tellin' tales or gossipin'. (10) Don't be hankerin' for yer buddy's stuff.
Now that's plain an' simple. And bless your little cotton pickin heart!

Could use a little cave time. Was a rough day and it looks like my contract job may be ending soon. Know the Lord has a plan. I'll wait on Him and maybe I'll just wait right here.

You are most welcomed here. So many stories in the OT about people going to caves for different reasons...King David, Elijah...Moses got into the cleff of the rock...
places of refuge...places to go seek God or wait for Him...
Amen.

Evil is on the rampage. I think of Psalm 91:
[glow=gold,1,00](Psalms 91:1) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall rest under the shadow of the Almighty.
(Psalms 91:2) I will say of Jehovah, my refuge and my fortress; my God; in Him I will trust.
(Psalms 91:3) Surely He will deliver you from the fowler's trap and from the destroying plague.
(Psalms 91:4) He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall trust. His truth shall be your shield, and buckler.
(Psalms 91:5) You shall not fear the terror by night; nor because of the arrow that flies by day;
(Psalms 91:6) nor for the plague that walks in darkness, of the destruction laying waste at noonday.
(Psalms 91:7) A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; it shall not come near you.
(Psalms 91:8) Only with your eyes you shall look and see the reward of the wicked.[/glow]
