From the Banks of Polecat Creek...

I was glad to see a dear friend today, writing the blessed word of God for all to see again, satisfied with the Lord's lead.

How great a contentment to be found doing what the Lord wills.


Peaceful solitude floods the room this evening as the sun sets towards the Lord's day tomorrow. Thoughts of meeting with the brethren in the church brings joy and anticipation. The world and it's troubles shut out temporarily, oh how I wish that temporal could be permanent, but the Lord still has work for His children to do.

Tomorrow's message is going to be about the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

"Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." HEBREWS 9:12

Glory to God and the Lamb forever!!

Without that precious blood atonement I would forever be lost! Alas! It is finished! The blood has been applied by Jesus himself, our high priest has sprinkled his own blood there in the holy place!!

Just as the old testament priest's could not be touched nor approached until they had taken the blood in to the holy of holies and sprinkled it upon the mercy seat, Jesus told Mary in John 20:17 " Touch me not....." Mary was looking at her high priest!!
She was looking at the sacrificial Lamb with the blood that cleanses, justifies, redeems, and saves!!!

How dare these modernistic devils claim that the blood is not necessary!

The blood that fell there at the scourging, at the cross where my burdens rolled away!! The blood of God Almighty!! Who can read the blessed word of God, claiming to believe it and dismiss the blood of Jesus!! How tragic!

Unless the blood is applied the soul is forever lost!

Please pray for liberty to preach tomorrow, and that souls will come for cleansing in that precious flow!!

I want to express my deepest thanks for your (whoever you are) prayers for the message today. To all the born again believers, you have a new sister in Christ!!!! Glory to God!!

She had thought all along for 25+ years that she was saved, having based her salvation upon something that took place as a child, but this morning the truth set in and the Holy Ghost showed her she was lost.

Today another precious soul has been resqued from the flames of Hell, we give all the glory to the Lord, Amen!!!

Again, I thought it would be a blessing to let you people know how that God has answered your prayers.

I almost forgot, another young lady came forward for some answers. She had been told some things that were not true about the blood of Jesus Christ. Today she was shown from the Bible about the blood.

Praise the Lord for a new sister, and for the Truth of His Word being made plain...

I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene, and wonder how He could love me a sinner condemned unclean,...

O how marvelous, O how wonderful............ !

Mrs. DB recieved a call via cell phone this a.m. Turned out to be the Sister who got saved yesterday. She was in an automobile accident, and was pretty shaken. Thankfully there was no damage to her, only the car.

As we prepared to leave, the home phone rang, it was her husband who got saved last October after being decieved most of his life as well. He wanted to let us know about the accident, and that his wife was physically okay.

After he was informed that we had already knew and was getting ready to leave, he said " Oh! let me tell you the good news of today!"

He said his son, who had been with his mother when she got saved yesterday, called him this morning to tell him that he asked the Lord to save him as well!! While on his way to work the Lord was dealing with his heart.

This new Brother called me this evening rejoicing in the salvation of the Lord. I was blessed to hear how that the Lord showed him his lost estate. He has been coming to the church for many years and had professed to be saved, but he told me that all that was a fake, "but it's real now" he said.. Glory!!!

I reckon as he heard his mother testifying, the years of rejecting the truth, and the "form" he was holding on to built to a head; he realized it is real. Thank God for the work of the Holy Ghost!!!!


Here's the work of the Lord in that particular family thus far:

The whole family was professing salvation.
Last April son #1 came under conviction and as he trembled and cried one afternoon he called upon the Lord to be saved.

Father; became bitter and bitter as the months passed by, then in Oct. he too, asked Jesus to save his soul.

Mother; yesterday saw herself lost, and called upon the name of the Lord.

this morning son #2 could not take it any longer, and got saved on his way to work.

My My My, what a joy to serve my Jesus-- OH! if i could explain the way I feel!!

Yes, dear people of DI, the Lord is still at work!! Pray for this family, Satan is hard at work.....

Some days, I just set around with a smile on my face. Sometimes it's from stories like this, sometimes it's simply from knowing what's coming...eternity with the One who bought us.

Amen to all that DB and Keith...it is no secret what God can do...what He's done for others, He can do for you!

Now I got one. Gonna brag on what the Lord can do.

Friend's children were all ready to adopt a baby. They had met the birth mother. They were there when the baby was born. A few days later they were just getting ready to go pick the baby up and the social worker called and told them the birth mother had decided to keep the baby...

My friends...the grandparents to be, were so disappointed, but their children said..."The Lord must have a better plan."

A few days later they got a call from the social worker. Another baby, born on the same day as the first child, had been born and abandoned in a hospital nearby. The social worker asked them if they were interested!!!

YOU BET CHA!!!

GRANDMA AND GRANDPA BROUGHT BABY PICTURES TO CHURCH SUNDAY!!!

PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS BETTER PLANS! IT'S A BOY!

That's just God, doing what He does........... Praise His holy name!!

I was just sitting here thinking about tomorrow night, thinking about what i need to be thinking about, think about that for a minute. " Hey bring me an excedrin please"

Ahh, meditation, the dwelling place of delight for those who seek God's blessings (PS 1). The constant abode of the mind of those who seek wisdom in the Scriptures. Why must the born again meditate upon the word of God? Why not fill our minds with the entanglements of the world, why should'nt our minds be clouded with the putrid arguments that only take time away from prayer and meditation?

Is it not better to desire the foolish wisdom of men, than to simply learn a new verse of Holy Writ?

I say nay, let the word of God be read and studied by the redeemed, so we will be ready to give an answer to those who inquire of the hope, peace, joy, and assurance we boast of in the Lord Jesus Christ!!

So sad, the meager answer of men, than the steadfast sure word of prophecy as written in the Bible. Brethren our answers are before us, let us break the bread of life and taste the goodness of the Lord!!

So joyfull, are the redeemed, with a verse of Scripture to send the advesary flee!!

So happy are we, the saved, to see the word of God define our history and state!

So glad am I to read of the wondrous story, and how my heart and lips praise Him, OH highest of glory!!!

As we live amidst the sin tarnished society, we meditate upon truth to be able..........

To persuade men...
To let our light so shine........
To create a thirst....
To hope for that moment when through us, the Holy Spirit will say to some poor lost soul...........

" Whosever will, may come.........."

I have been laughing ever since I bought that box of donuts. I was preparing the little gimmick when I erupted into uncontrolable laughter, my little girl asked what was up with all the fun.

I told her it was a joke on Duck, she said "you might ought to hold the laughing part down till you get her response".

I simply replied " The legend that she is, she will honorably take it in good stride, and will gracefully see the good intention."

Got another phone call this afternoon........................

A Brother in our church and his wife had gone to visit the wife's brother to witness to him about the Lord. Week before last, two men from the church went by there on a Teusday evening.

The phone call was a good one.........


Praise the Lord, another soul has been saved!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God is so good!!!!

Please pray for these new Brothers and Sisters.
